It looks to me like Philly is beat up and this could be an emotional letdown game for Philly with Dallas coming up next week. I also think that this line is a little inflated. I think 8 or 9 is about right so I'll play the value here. I think GB needs to score in the mid 20's to cover here and believe that to be highly probable so........
Green Bay (+11.5 -110) (1.1 units to win 1 unit)
Green Bay (+550) (0.5 unit to win 2.75 units)
All WSEX lines. Good luck to everyone.
Current NFL Posting Record: (1-1) (+1.55 units)

Sorry Illusion: I Posted Other MNF Thread Before I Saw Yours . . .
Anyone else fear both sides here? My head says no brainer PHIL covers - a convincing type win in an at-home MNF National TV keep NFC divisional pace type of game ~ but then I just keep feeling GB will backdoor and there's value in the large spread. I know that this seaon GB has new
co-ordinators on both sides of the ball and personnel changes like that can take some time to gel. PHIL has a new
offensive co-ordinator who's pledged more ground game.
I'm looking forward to reading the thoughts of everyone on this matchup's large PS.

you read my mind checker...........feel like a 40-20 whooping...........but fearing a MNF back door special.........there is no way i can bet GB......so it seems only options are philly or 1st half philly as I have no lean on total............definately not liking it as much as last week MNF game.

won't lay double digits in nfl, even if apparently warranted. Up 10 units from yesterday, going to sacrifice 1 unit on GB ML...Good luck!

I took Philly under 49. I think the Eagles clamp down on D tonight.

with the two teams D's allowing so many points in the past games. Both offenses can make things happen, that it would go over 49 pts. Any input?

I think it's all but a given that this game will go over. I'll probably tease this game to bring the total down a few points though, with either Philly or Green Bay (haven't decided which one yet).

Even though 11.5 is a lot to lay on this game, I just don't see the Packers being competitive tonight.
Eagles(-11.5) is the play here
Also playing the Over(47.5)
Farve and company will be able to put up some points but the Philly offense will run their piss poor defense up and down the field.

Too early in the season for me. Green Bay is all over the map, and I don't have a read on them for tonight. Maybe they show up, maybe they don't.
Going purely by overlay, in week 4, teams that had an overlay of 7 pts or more went 6-0 ATS; teams that had overlay of less than 7 pts went 1-6 ATS. Problem is that neither team has any overlay here in my system. lol.
Correction. That was for opening line. With new line, GB has a 1 pt overlay. So that would be a play AGAINST indicator. Also, for the season RD's with a overlay of less than 7 pts are 1-7 ATS.

Lineoff favors Eagles as well. By 22 pts, divided by 3 games = 7 pts. So from this angle Eagles should win game by about 17 pts.
Motivation. Last home game Eagles dominated Giants, but gave it away in a crazy end. They relaxed too early. This is their first home game after that humiliation. They should be sharp and stay sharp throughout the game.
Also, Eagles have the better MNF record, 10-3 as HF.
A small play on Philly.
Football season record: 50-33 ATS
NCAAF: 24-12
NFL: 26-21 (of which 7-7 totals, and 6-2 in evening games)

i think you guys are just afraid and worried.
Like they aren't playing the VIKINGS ,there the team that is hard to read. The PACKERS haven't done anything all season, and won't. This is not a very good team, that will defeat a EAGLES team that are tryin to get a win to prepare for a huge game next week.
BET big on the EAGLES at the 1st half, and a bit on the -11.5 spread.
The PACKERS win, it might be the biggest upset in the last 2-3 seasons.
They won't.
pick EAGLES

I'm very encouraged to see so many of you youngins picking the right team tonight. Don't get caught up in the "Eagles are good - Packers suck poo poo" hype. Both teams actually suck poo poo. Not really but you see I make a point. Green Bay will win tonight on the frozen tundra. Even if theyre playing in Philadelphia on a chipper night. I'll even stick my neck out and bet an Eagle will come out of the closet to a national audience by halftime.
