Default Is It Time To Bench Eli Manning?

He looks bad

Played bad the last 8 games last year and 0-2 this year

Most over hyped QB ever

Time for the bench, he is not even close to his brother and the giants have great material.

He's thrown for 310 yards and 2 TD's so far today, and the Gaints are currently in OT. How can you bench a guy that puts up those types of numbers Coach.

He threw up some prays and got lucky, we will give him credit though for the win but I still do not like this guy in the pressure.

It's just a damn shame when things like that happen to the Eagles.

If you listened to Suck and Fakeman call the game then you thought the Eagles were greatest assemblage of talent ever to step on the gridiron.

Yes, and I'm so sick of hearing them telling me Jim Johnson is this great defensive coordinator. Yes, they had 8 sacks, but how do you let the Giants drive into FG position from their own 20 with no timeouts and 55 seconds left?

Plus, on the series before, the CB gets burned on a 25-yard TD pass. How do they let the WRs get by them in that spot.

The Eagles defense has been overrated for years. They never come up big in a big spot. Still, this loss falls on Andy Reed.

loss falls under no time management and an idiot play by a defender giving a 15 yard penalty right before they were kicking the FG for the tie

you've got to let Eli Manning play through these times (and it doesn't sound like he's doing too bad in the first place)...it will eventually pay dividends...

In this particular game, the real reason the Eagles lost was because Jevon Kearse got injured. They pressured Eli mercilessly until the very last play Kearse was in the game (he injured his knee when he and another Eagle sacked Eli simultaneously). From that point on, the Giants were able to score every time they had they football.

dude kearse was hurt in ot, kind of sad too since he would not have got hurt if they could have just held the lead, lost a lot last weekend, this game along with Oklahoma, and CLemson running the ball in instead of kicking an 18 yarder all were horrible losses

Eli certainly has been "lucky" the last 5 games ... If there ever was a football player that looks like he doesn't want to be there, it's him ... I'm getting tired of looking at his sour puss.

Is it too late to say no? I think the absence of Shockey has helped Eli. Without Shockey's constant whining about being open he looks more comfortable.
