Every ESPN analyst seems to be all over the Carolina Panthers this season. All I keep hearing is how good this team is and how they will probably win the SUPERBOWL. All I have to say is watch out Panther fans ESPN is the kiss of death. Once they start hyping a team it is bad..

He's the 'mortenson' of analysts.
He did do colour for battlebots, though (or something like that), so I can't kill the guy.
He clearly doesn't watch the games - and reads mostly buzz press releases...
Good point - he's the ultimate fade on the ML and straight buttah with the spread.

Hype and spin can work on me big time. I have to be careful.
I can have a pick all thought out and then hear some stuff and the change my pick . . . I'm better at not letting that stuff effect me than I used to be . . . Partly because I just don't listen to or expose myself to too much of it . . .

Don't believe the hype.
I've lost so much on the Panthers this year by thinking they were better than they really were. Like when Steve Smith came back I thought, this guy makes this team the real deal. Man was I wrong over and over again
