Default Griese over Grossman?

After following the Bears a bit in the pre-season, I think they are better off with Brian Griese than Grossman at QB. Griese was 10 of 14 for 131 and a score. Grossman a slightly worse 13 out of 21, 117, and a pick. I am not so sure Grossman is the answer in Chicago.

Grossman needs some time to learn from a veteran QB. Griese is the answer this year if the Bears are to contend for the Super Bowl. The fans said it best when they were chanting Griese's name at the end of the Cardinals preseason game. Lovie will start Grossman and look for another midseason QB change.

Griese has played very well everywhere he has been during his career. Injuries are the only thing that has kept him from being a household name QB. He could start for plenty of teams in the NFL and no question he is a better QB than Grossman.

I would go with Griese. Not that either one of them is a great QB, but dont Grossman just get injured anyway? This could save him from a injury this season.

Griese is far and away their best shot at making it back to the playoffs.

Finally, some common sense on the issue!
I'm still laughing from last year when those dolts at ESPN talked like Grossman's return to the team, after being injuried, was the 2nd coming of Jim McMahon...

Griese has looked good in that offense during pre-season. Rex needs time to develop, I think. Rex PROBABLY should start, but you dont' bring in a guy like Griese into that situation and expect to sit him. He's a better QB than Rex right now. The Bears are a threat to win, so it makes sense to go with the Veteran.
