Panthers serious about preseason
Fox wants to win, whether it's preseason or the regular season. Look for Carolina to cover against Buffalo.
 By: Alex Smart http://www.who2beton.com Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox takes the preseason very seriously. Actually this guy takes winning seriously no matter what the venue. That becomes obvious when considering the fact that, under Fox, the Panthers had won and covered 10-straight preseason games dating back to the 2002 season entering last year's (2005) preseason play before going 1-3 ATS. Fox obviously takes this stuff very seriously and will look to implant a winning mentality back in to his troops' minds right away. Considering the Panthers will be playing a Buffalo team that is in disarray and being coached by one of my all time favorite go against guys, Dick Jaron, it will be easy for me to back Carolina in this spot. Note: Panthers are 6-1 ATS L/7 Week 1 preseason games and are 4-0 ATS in their L/4 opening preseason games. Buffalo is 6-18 ATS L/24 opening exhibition contests. Play: Buy off the hook.....Carolina to cover |
