Nope. The Steelers own them -- have owned them every year they have been in existence and will own them this year.
This year, nobody runs on the Steelers and the Jets will be no exception. It'll all be in Bret's hands and he'll be meeting Mr. Harrison and company at that point. Troy P will have a pick and all will be well. (then again, the Jets might luck out and not play the Steelers) |

And the Jets haven't played the Colts yet. How can you say they are better than them if they haven't played, by your logic?

Jets are not better than the Pats and are not better than the Steelers and, 8 out of 10 times, are not better than the Oilers ...
Jets are not going to get a 1st round bye and will be bounced out in the 1st round of the playoffs, while playing a home game no less. Drinking the Kool-Aid with 5 games to go in the season is a knee-jerk reactions squares have. And it has very little basis in reality ![]() |

Ry-boy, funny how moronic = making lots o' money. I've always bet the Steelers ML against the Jets and always won. And, funny enough, save the uniforms, it was always different teams playing.
Enjoy the Kool-Aid. (just for the record, I've drank it before around this time in a season, when the Steelers beat the undefeated Eagles and the undefeated Patriots in back-to-back weeks convincingly -- didn't matter come playoff time, though) |

says the guy who said dodgers would beat phils, nyy would make loffs, cubs would go to series, rays would lose to bosox
are you ever right? yikeS1 |

Ry-boy, once you become the person who says a team with the 6th best record in baseball sucks (oh, that's right, you are that guy), you lose all credibility. Once again, I have to ask, are you a teenager because you don't represent yourself as an adult on this site?

all you do is come into every thread and say bullshit that ends up wrong
you are a moron, no doubt about it yes, steelers beat jets with pennington, so what? who cares well done yanks, what a team. now spend 250 mill and miss the loffs again |

Jets won in Miami, in New England, in Tennessee, and in Buffalo.
They're on top of the AFC |

Yes, the Jets have won the NFL 11 game championship in spirit, if not in record. I hear they get a cup of coffee and a free movie pass.
(only an idiot starts the 'favorite in the league' conversation at this point in the season ... only uneducated fans and broadcasters who get paid to do this usually drink the Kool-Aid) |

Ry-boy, do you ever leave your home? 15,544 posts in 9 months ... about 1,700 a month, or about 60 a day, give or take.
2+ posts an hour for every hour of your life for the better part of 2008! Now, that IS impressive. |

Best thing to happen to Tenn was losing this game. Takes the pressure off and they'll still have home field throughout the playoffs.

And now, after a week has gone by, nobody will say the Jets are anything but the 3rd best team in the AFC, behind Pitt and TN ... which will all change after next week's games.
(just showing how utterly stupid this thread was when Ry-boy put it forth ... only squares and announcers debate about such things in week 11 of the NFL season ) |

Ry-boy, I just love your thread, saying the Jets are the team to beat IN WEEK 11 ... I guess I am wrong ... not only do squares and announcers engage in this type of mindless drivel ... you do too
)Last week the team to beat in the AFC was the Jets, according to Ry. This week, I bet it's TN ... Next week, who knows ... let's see how the wind blows. |
