I'm leaning with San Fran +9.5
Reason for this is, the line opened at 11 and is now down to 9.5
Might be a RLM?
Seattle's game Tonight vs the dolphins was the same way... opened at around 10.5 if i was right and went way down to 7.5 by game time.

i might put something on the over 47 too..

Its fun watching big underdog's trying to spoil everything...i don't believe the 49ers have it in them to win the game but i think they'll keep it really close and fail late.

i really liked the cardinals too ..but it just seems too easy....ill stick with the 49ers but ill lay most of my money on the over...if your laying something down good luck to you too

Tricky read.

I hate playing unders as a rule. So I hooked two large on the Giants M/L to the under Monday. My logic here is simple. If you think SF can score, you must take the over. I don't.

Singletary's crazy antics remind me of what a great LB he was with them crazy eyes darting around. Don't think he can improve D much this year but his arrival won't hurt.

So screw the hedge. I'll sit tight and hope for a 28-17 outcome. 47 just too much on a team with O issues everywhere. Kind of wish I would just have bet 4 large on the single prop +140. Oh well.

Man my only problem taking the Cardinals is simply that san francisco has had over a week to prepare for a nationally televised game. Kurt warner isn't mobile so if they do get pressure on him it'd be really hard for them to generate offense.

If I had to choose I would go with the Cardinals.
A lot of the press on the Cards is about how bad their defense is, really undermining how good their offense is.
Looking at 2 games this year for the Cards: They played Miami and Buffalo in Arizona, and beat both teams by more than 20 points.
Now they are playing a team with Coach that was just moved to Head Coach a couple of weeks ago, and he is coaching a team that is easily ranked in the bottom 10.

To all of you guys who threw your bank rolls on Phili last night, I got 4 words for you, I told you so! The Giants were one of my 5* locks of the week. I also had GB +2.5, NE -3.5, & Miami -8.5 (3 out of 4 aint so bad).

Anyway on to the subject at hand. For anyone on this board riding SF at plus 9.5 can you please tell me how SF will score on the road vs. Arizona and how will SF stop Arizona on Defense?

-Dallas put up 24 points in AZ.
-Buffalo put up 17 points in AZ.
-Miami put up 10 points in AZ.

-SF put up a mere 13 points at home vs. Arizona.
-Arizona is scoring an average of 34 points at home.
-SF is letting up an average of 30 points on the road.

Conclusion: Arizona should win this game big, SF is a piss poor team on both sides of the ball. I dont see SF putting up 17 points, if they do it'll be off of AZ mistakes. Arizona should play stout D at home on Monday night, they have something to prove here. They'll also score plenty of points tonight.

I like Arizona -9.5 and under 47 for the total.

Possible Teaser: For those of you who like teasers, a two team 7 point teaser seems pretty dam safe (imo) with ARZ at -2.5 and under the total of 54.

Score Prediction: SF= 13 AZ= 31

Some interesting stats for MNF...

7 of the 10 MNF games played this year have been won by a margin greater than 9.5 points (tonight's current line). The home team as also won 7 of the 10 MNF games played in 2008.

Of the last 4 MNF games played each one of them as covered the 9.5 spread in tonight's match up and 3 of the games having been won by the home team and have gone over the 47 point total.
