Default Monday Night: Baltimore @ Pittsburgh

I think at most, Baltimore can only score 15pts if that. They have attempted 3 field goals in 2 games, made 1 from 22 yds. They have made 6 touchdowns at home. 2 against Cincinnati, 4 against Cleveland. These 2 teams have a combined total of 20 touchdowns allowed thus far.

Pittsburgh has given up 3 touchdowns. 1 to Philadelphia at Philly. And, 2 to Houston in Pitts, and those came in the 4th quarter when Pitts was up 35-3.

I don't see Baltimore doing much on Offense. Their Quarterback is going in to Pittsburgh on a Monday night in his first away game.

On the other hand, Pittsburgh has not been putting up the points either. But, Baltimore is hurting defensively due to injuries. They have allowed 10pts each game at home to bad teams. So, their stats look good.

Over all I look for a boring game with a lot of field goal attempts. I am giving Pittsburgh at home 2 touchdowns and 3 field goals. 23 points. And, I am giving Baltimore 1 field goal. 3 points.

Predictions Baltimore 3 Pittsburgh 23 total 26

The weather here in PA for the Steelers game should be in the 60s. Might have about a 5 mile hour wind. Ready for the Steelers to kick some ass!!!!

So would you take Pitt -10.5 @ +190?

Also, are you gonna parlay Pitt and the under?

I cant imagine flaaco being able to move the ball in the air on his first away start, and I cant imagine baltimore being able to run the ball vs the steelers in pittsburgh. Even leftwich is better than flaaco...I think this is going to be a very boring game with nothing but field goal attempts maybe a touchdown or two. I predict baltimore staying within the 6 points, and the score under 34.5 something like 13-7, 13-10 ish.

Leaning on the under and Bal +6. I see both teams struggling on offense tonight so game will be close.

My program predicts Baltimore 15 Pittsburgh 24 total 39, which would be Pittsburgh -9 and Over. But, I got no stats on Baltimore playing away this year. So, I am going on injuries, greenhorn quarterback and Pittsburgh at home. I don't know about the O/U.

last three times these teams faced each other the O/U line was 34.5, 36, 37 and all three times the game went over. last year on monday night it was raining during the whole game and the game still went over. i don't know about the under. 2 starting d linemen out for pitt. baltimore might be able to run which might open up a couple deep play action passes down the field (polamalu will play in the box more, giving more man2man coverage). over looks good to me.

I take a shot at a Ravens ML + u34.5 parlay...

I think this is a hard game to predict. Ben is a bit shaken up after the Eagles match, will the Steelers give up the same amount of sacks as last week, can the Ravens score on D and how will the Steelers play witout a Parker with a great start to the season?

Gonna try with the underdog in this one
Its a toss-up in my mind....

Realy like the under tho...

Great write up! I've got Pitt +5 myself... Baltimore really hasn't played any difficult teams this year, and they always have trouble with Pittsburgh -- So I think you're dead on.

I suggest a 7 point same-game tease with Pitt +1.5/UNDER 41.

Alot of key defensive players banged up on both sides... Casey Hampton(4 x pro bowler) is one of the best run stuffers in the NFL hes out and the starting DE brett keisel was already lost. Baltimore's samari rolle is out. I see alot of under predictions look out. After the thumping the Ravens took last year they will be fired up. There will probably be defensive touchdowns. Ravens might be able to run with the injurys up front.

Your program? You use a program to help you predict games?

NO way Baltimore wins at Pitt. Take Pitt -5. Flacco is going to have his worst game as a Pro and it will be an eye-opener for him. Playing one of the best defense's in the NFL. I look for 2 INTs by Flacco and about 10 hurries, 4-5 sacks. He will get rattled early. If you are leaning Balti, save your money on this one!

Yup, I am hoping my 33.5 Over bet get pushed up by 2.5 or 3so I can fire the Under and hopefully middle it.

I'm on it for 2 dimes + I threw $39 on a Parlay of Pitt -6 & Over, just for the hell of it... To see if I can win an extra $100... I remember last time these 2 teams faced off on MNF, Pittsburgh scored over 35 pts

Baltimore beat Cincinnati and Cleveland so lets not throw them a parade yet! Rashard Mendenhall is a Marion Barber type (w/more speed) but it is his 1st start for the Steelers! I just think Pitt at home will be too much....they're not married to the running game like Baltimore! The Ravens have to run well or they have no shot...the Steelers can spread the field and throw it around...Big Ben had a 32/11 ratio last yr and has some nice WRs and Heath Miller at TE! Joe Flacco will learn who the big dog in the AFC Central is tonite!

Steelers 24
Ravens 13

Going with Baltimore here. Pittsburgh is not very good in my opinion, nor is Baltimore. Injuries and a rivalry meeting scream take the points.
