yep, he pretty much ruins what would be an otherwise enjoyable evening. Where did ESPN find this clown?

I actually enjoyed Dennis Miller. At least he admitted he knew nothing about football.

Tony doesn't bring anything to the booth, that is what annoys me. He doesn't know ANYTHING about football, and all he says are obvious comments. "They need to have a long drive and run the clock to gain some confidence"....well no crap!

He at least brought something to the booth....albeit esoteric by football standards. I love his intellectual humor, so I was annoyed they axed him.

What is sad is the Kornheiser somewhat does, yet he comes off as this loud clown who's at his first game. He seems to think he has to interject anytime there is dead air. Its like these three think we want to hear them talking 99% of the time the game is on.

How come we never hear the only person in that booth who knows anything, talk? Jaws!! The guy is so quiet! I wish death upon the other two.

Tony just out did himself, He just said an onside kick in the early parts of the second quarter was a "Cool Idea"

Tirico does a decent job with play-by-play. Kornheiser looks even worse because of Jaws, who is the best analyst in the game, x's and O's wise. Simms has the best delivery, and Aikman is OK, but give me Jaws anyday. Someone should tell ESPN that a two man booth is OK.

I always liked how Madden broke down the game and added in little tid bits that only NFL coaches or players would know.

Madden, as boring as his delivery may be, is far and beyond the most knowledgable football broadcaster alive today. You can always learn something listening to him. They are usually Brett Favre related facts, but sometimes he sprinkles in some other football related facts.

Actually, the radio call of Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason is pretty good.

I dont pay for a commentator to be entertaining, the game takes care of that. I pay for an commentator to not talk to much and ruin my MNF experience, IE Tony Kornhole.

I remember last year when the Pats were playing in Baltimore, this assclown Kornhole would not shut up about how the pats "escaped" and "18-0" and all that crap...

Default Dennis Miller??

Dennis Miller was THE worst.
I worked with Brian Billick the other
day for FOX Sports, it was his first
show and he was AWESOME!
Maybe we'll see him more, great
insite.

O.K. Kornheiser blows, but he is no Bryant Gumble, or Greg gumble for that matter.

Bryant Gumbel. Hands down.

Greg Gumbel is actually a great commentator. Apple couldn't fall any farther from the tree.

I can't stand Bryant so much that it spills over when I watch a game with Greg, he need to change his name to Albert, YES.

you are dead on

i actually like kornheiser on pti, maybe because its scripted and maybe because he and wilbon have good chemistry with each other, but on mnf he is terrible.

He should admit he knows nothing about comedy.

Kornheiser should go back to radio and replace Colin Cowherd. I liked Kornheiser much better, he's more of a regular guy and less of an elitist snob prick like Cowherd.

I also like PTI, but mostly because Wilbon I think. I think you could stick pretty much anyone next to Wilbon and it would be good, maybe even Dennis Miller.

Not to change the subject, but does anyone know why ABC didn't renew Dan Fouts' contract as college analyst? He's over at CBS now for select NFL games....just curious. I thought he was good on MNF.

How ESPN can justify having Kornhole and that marbled mouth little leprechan Lou Holtz is beyond me.

There can not be many people that like these two idiots.

I cant stand Holtz. He's like a happy version of Al Davis, every bit as senile.

How about last week's game when he kept saying in the final minute the OT will be decided on the coin toss. He repeated it three times. Then, Baltimore wins the toss and loses the game. Not a word from his partners on how stupid the analysis was, especially with a weak offensive team like Baltimore where getting the ball first means nothing in OT.

I will always have a soft spot for TK since he continuously called out Joe Theisman for his ridiculous analysis.

JT: "He's got to get rid of the ball quicker than that".

Very next play:

JT: "He's got to hold onto the ball a little bit longer to try and make something happen".

TK: "Well which is it Joe, hold onto it, or get rid of it"?

He'd call him out for his double speak at least twice a night, which i enjoyed because JT was getting away with that nonsense for years.

So to answer the question........... imo Joe Theisman was the worst ever.

I think a perfect Monday Night Dream team would be Kornheiser, Dennis Miller, and Bill Cosby in the booth, with Pam Anderson doing the on field action and occasional "peni-commentary" from OJ

No, Phil simms is the worst right now, hes soooooooo boring and states nothing but the obvious.

"Ive seen it time and time again when you put pressure on the Quarterback, they make mistakes"

****ing dumbass. He sucked as a player too.

Kornhole is the reason why I listen to the game on radio with the TV muted, like a ****ing 70 year old Hungarian immigrant.

Torrico is great and so is Jaws. I always thought that having two in the both is more than enough.

Lou Holtz is why I can't watch the final review of the day, the Dr. Lou segment is the worst !
