Detroit/San Francisco over 45 -110 1 unit

Why?
Detroit will panic and score a crapload of points in a short amount of time, like they have already done in the last two weeks.
We already found out that Frisco can score, as well. Don't tell me that the Seahawk defense is any worse than the Lions. Niners will get a lot of points.

If Arizona can play turnover-free ball, and I am betting they can, Arizona has little excuse not to walk away with an outright winner here. Coach Whisenhunt said in his press conference that they're taking all the necessary precautions leading up to this and next week's matchups (i.e. arriving early in Washington, laying over on the east coast next week for their matchup @ NYJ, therefore removing timezone and jet-lag handicaps). Everything I said last week about Seattle still applies here. Injuries have devastated this team. As far as the Rams, they are a team that SHOULD be 0-2. They faced one of the premier teams in the NFC this year in week 1 in PHL, then faced the reigning Super Bowl champs in the NYG in week 2, both heavy losses. I was on SF last week, and I'll take the points again this week in nearly the same scenario. SEA 27 STL 20

1* BUF BILLS -9 -110 LOSS
McFadden had a breakout game last week after Justin Fargas went out with injury, but that breakout came at the expense of the KC Chiefs, now the 24th ranked defense. The Bills have the 5th ranked defense (11th rush, 8th pass) and will contain McFadden in this game. If there's a line out on which week Kiffin gets the axe from Al Davis, my money would be after this week. A long day for the Raiders. BUF 28 OAK 10

Ok another banner week of fadable picks for me where I dropped another 2 units, so now I'm down to -12.30 Units YTD. This is statistically my worst week to invest in the NFL, so my kid is probably doubling his investments which are the opposite of mine. He's been doing this for a year and 2 weeks now and it is pissing me off cause I used to make money at this until he came around. One of these days it will all turn around on him and he will get barrelled in like the old man.

I'm going to go ahead and add
Bears -3.

I did a little tweaking of my numbers, giving me the same top 5 plays that I showed yesterday, but adding the Bears to my list of plays. The tweaking also changed the next two plays to not make the cut: Bills -9 1/2, Falcons -5 1/2. I'll probably keep tweaking my system all season.


BTW, Illusion, my record for week 2 should show 2-2-1 ATS. The Vikings -3 play should be a push, not a loss.

The same thing happened to me with the Broncos...I jumped on them early at matchbook at +1 but only got credit for a tie rather than a win. I think Illusion is keeping it simple and using closing lines with these bets.

Jets Over 17.5 team total = 2 units San Diego has been shredded by Carolina & Denver. Jets caught a TON of flak for not turning Favre loose vs the Pats and being too conservative! Favre airs it out here on Monday Night and he has a better O-line than Pennington had!
