Default great game going on

I was a little pissed leaving work, but I thought at least there is football on tonight.

Gumble is such a joke. What were they thinking?? I almost wish the wife wanted to snuggle and watch Grey's Anatomy. Almost..... Not sure which is more torture.

I only saw the highlights -- and there actually were a decent complement of those.

It is amazing how often teams punt on their first 5-6 possessions but wind up scoring like gangbusters in the second half.

Another funny-how-things-work note:
Tonight clinched the NFL future play that I had almost left for dead in October (SEA under 10.5 wins) My only othe.r future was can't miss in October but, now, I'd love to be rid if it (STL over 7 wins).

I'm sure many people had the over on Seattle in that awful division. They will have a home game in the playoffs as the No. 4 seed but might go out quickly. How can any team that loses to Arizona and SF in consecutive weeks be taken seriously? San Fran was pounded last week by Green Bay.

Seattle is struggling for sure. Although I'm glad of the outcome but Seattle should have scored multiple times in the first half. Any team from the NFC West won't go anywhere in the playoffs.

As much as people like to shit on the 49ers it's about time to realize that they are for real. Gore leads the league in rushing... The "bust" qb they drafted is progressing... If they build that defense in FA and draft next year watch out.

As for Seattle... signing an aging RB to a huge deal was so incredibly stupid. Nobody does that because EVERY running back whose ever lived dies off when he turns 31. Okay maybe not Emmit Smith. Name another one though ! With that old man QB and a vastly overpaid piece of garbage at RB look for Seattle to be in the gutter in a year or two.
