To the whiners: go to hell. Somebody went to the work to set up this contest. SBR let this contest take up board space. BetOnline put up some prizes. If you don't like it, STFU. There was a chance to offer suggestions for over a week, where were you then? I know it happens every time there's a contest, and maybe I'm just in a bitchy mood right at this moment, but you whiners need to grow up.
Thanks mofome, SBR, BetOnline and anyone else behind the scenes for setting up this contest. Some people do appreciate the work that gets done around here.

I was interested in the contest in the suggestions thread, but I felt it may be too much of a googling contest and I mentioned that then. Just because I or anyone else didn't like how it was executed, doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to offer feedback after the fact. I would assume honest feedback would be looked at come the next draft contest whether NBA or NFL.
There's no need to get personal like the previous poster did, it's just a contest, not everybody needs to be in unanimous agreement at how awesome it is.

Badnina and I both opened new accounts for this. And don't say it's cuz we're girls or we don't gamble - you said 1 was the over/under for opening a new account just for this: 2 that I know of did.
As far as everything else you've said, it's your right to opine, and, while some of it may be true, this contest was ment to be fun - not to be over-analyzed and have the fun sucked right out of it. So what if no one gets any of the top 10 correct - someone is going to win some money without having to risk a dime.
I for one had a great time looking at players and deciding who I thought would bring the most to each team. But, I love the NFL and having something like this to do at this time of year was fun.
Ritehook, you've made some interesting posts at this forum, and if you recall, I've agree with you a time or two, but in this case, sadly, we are not on the same page.

Intelligent and useful feedback comes not from negativity, but from positive imput. Give us your scenario for running a draft contest and let's see how it campares.

If you want to offer suggestions for a 2009 NFL draft contest, your best bet is to offer suggestions in the weeks leading up to the 2009 NFL draft while contest proposals are being taken. At the very least, start a new thread titled "2009 NFL draft contest suggestions." to share your opinions. Putting these comments in the main thread comes off as shallow criticism.
I'm not waving a flag that this is the most awesome contest ever. But, I see that somebody put some work into making this contest happen at all, and I think it's immature to try to undermine that effort in any way.

I kinda figured that NO would trade up and maybe take the #7 pick, but I didn't see the Jags trading up. Although, it makes sense. Baltimore will likely take a QB first round and which ever one they want will probably still be available at #26. Smart move.

Seems like New Orl did well. I thought they would go cb. As they were the worst pass coverage in the league IMO.
Jax needs DE , seems like they got harvey too early. He's overrated to me.
Henne to balt?
