Who do you guys like for today?
I will track everybodies plays, so please make sure you post a line.
Also, I don't mind if you post parlays, teasers, or round robins, but I won't be keeping track of those plays.

Sides Only Saturday
The day I, and many of you, have been waiting on for eight months is finally here. Despite the anticipation over the college football scene, there is some baseball we like today also. Baseball sides continue to be hot (3-0, +7.00*) but totals have cooled off (1-2, -3.50*). We didn’t really study totals, because they require more in-depth analysis, and we wanted to focus more on football today.
Baseball Overall (68-40-1, +59.38*)
Baseball Sides (39-25, +40.53*)
3* Cardinals (Carpenter) @ Astros (Clemens) -102
Cardinals now 41-9 after a loss, and Carpenter has given up 1 run in 24 innings against Astros this year. Would be huge play if not for Clemens incredible season.
2* Yankees (Small) @ A’s (Saarloos) -107
Only game this series the pitching matchup is not in A’s favor, and we can’t imagine the Yankees getting swept.
2* Brewers (Obermueller) vs. Padres (Williams) +115
We can’t reasonably pass on the Brewers as a home dog against a pitcher as bad as Williams.
2* LAD (Houlton) @ Rockies (BH Kim) +115
Houlton has been hot, and Kim is a minor league pitcher.
1* Mets (Benson) @ Marlins (Beckett) +153
We’ve made a lot of money fading Beckett, the most overvalued pitcher in baseball.
1* Nationals (Patterson) vs. Phillies (Brito) -143
Nats best pitcher in a virtual must-win game.
1* Indians (Millwood) @ Twins (Santana) +160
We think the Indians matchup with Santana better than Twins anemic offense matches up with Millwood. Plus, Indians are starting to believe they can not only make playoffs, but win division. Can’t pass up this price.
Baseball Totals (29-15-1, +18.85*)
Pass

Saturday Football
Just for the purposes of keeping all our plays in one place, I am re-posting our football under each day's best bets thread this week. If you want the write-ups, go to the thread titled Razz's NCAA Football, Week 1.
NCAA Football Overall (0-0-0)
NCAAF Sides (0-0-0)
5* Bowling Green +2.5 @ Wisconsin
4* Georgia -8.5 vs. Boise St
4* Georgia Tech +7.5 @ Auburn (-105)
3* Texas -39.5 vs. UL Lafayette
3* Miami (OH) +14.5 @ Ohio St.
2* Texas A&M -1.5 @ Clemson
2* Colorado St. +7 @ Colorado
2* UCLA -9 @ SD St
2* Air Force +3 vs. Washington
1* Illinois +1.5 vs. Rutgers
1* Iowa -38.5 vs. Ball St
NCAAF Totals (0-0-0)
2* GT @ Auburn Under 38.0
Also, if you are going to play Syracuse, which is our other large play, I strongly suggest you go ahead and do it. The line is climbing, and will probably get to at least 3 before game time.

I want to echo newb's post about the great job you guys do with this forum. I would like to make the suggestion that during football season, you open the best bets threads for Saturday and Sunday on Tuesday or Wednesday, just so we can avoid line movement against us. If not, that's OK too, I can just post our plays like this week. Thanks again, Illusion and others.

I have no problem doing that at all Razz. I will start the best bets thread for the weekend on Tuesday. Great suggestion and thanks again to all of you that have made SBR forum your home.

Illusion, I was 3-4 +9.0u
Slept through my alarm and unable to bet on Ljubicic, which I was planning on being my large play. Let's see how that match unfolds.
