They will get a good rb in the draft. Deangelo is a great change of pace guy

agreed. but with peppers likely gone in a year and not a lot of depth at OT, i think they'll address one of those needs.

Nice pick for Panters Hackett is could be really good if will stay healthy exactly what he was unable to do in Seattle, At the same time Seattle now is very short on WRs.

If Brohm is avail I would say that they will grab him. They need a real qb of the future.

If given the opportunity Matt Moore can be a solid QB for the Panthers.Hackett was a good pick up for Carolina. We need to address the DL in the early rounds of the draft!

Nice 'depth' pickup for Carolina. He's not 'great', but he beats up on scrub DBs rather well. I was surprised by this move, though, to be honest. It makes me think that Jarrett might be getting suspended for his DWI and possibly that his development is still very far off from him playing much.
Even so, Moose, "the big nasty" Stevie Smith and Hackett is an ASSTON better than king flop Colbert and "I have hands like a DB" Drew Carter.
If Jake stays healthy and that line can stay healthy and come together (Losing Mike Wahle is pretty big), they should have a solid passing game. I think the bigger concern for them is the TE position and more importantly - their running game. I love D Williams, but he's not an every down back... Not sure who will carry the load with their current roster.
Now that I think about it - Carolina has quite a few holes to fill, and some of their signings suggest being competitive right now... It'l be interesting to see how their roster shakes out. Also, it's important to note that if Peppers continues to not play with the impact he can have (he has top 5 FOOTBALL player ability), they're going to really struggle. He really hasn't been much of a factor getting after the QB lately, even though they do zone him out a lot in coverage as a decoy (they didn't do that as much last year as previous years, however).

Dante Rosario is our future at TE
We would love for the big LT from Boise St to be there when we pick in the first round.
We won't go QB in the 1st or 2nd, I can tell you that for sure. Delhomme, Moore and Basanez will be OK to start the year. I like MM as a b/u and eventual successor to Jake.
Would love to see us grab Chris Johnson from ECU in the 3rd round, provided he's there (longshot).
