    Default KeyShawn to the Giants?

According to numerous reports, KeyShawn Johnson arrived at Giants Stadium today to potentially work out a deal.

I'd say he would be a pretty good addition for us. Although he's got to realize he won't be the main weapon in the offense. Would he be the 3rd?

    Looks like Carolina is serious:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers closed in on a deal with free-agent receiver Keyshawn Johnson late Thursday night that would give the team a complement to All-Pro receiver Steve Smith and perhaps the final piece to get them back to the Super Bowl.

Johnson, who was released last week by the Dallas Cowboys, spent the entire day meeting with coaches and team officials in Charlotte, then dined with team general manager Marty Hurney.

"Nothing is signed, but it looks like we're close to terms," Hurney said. "Hopefully we can get the language done here and have something to announce (Friday)."

I dont know about threat, but it will take some of the attention off S.Smith. They have to watch the middle of the field with Keyshawn in there. But teams should still double up S.Smith if they were smart.

    thats what i ment looker.

johnson should take away heat off smith. you gotta remember, johnson is not afraid to go across the middle like most recievers are. that alone right there will pose another threat in the panthers arsenal.
