    jm plays pucklines in nhl. but i don't like laying all that dough just to win 1 unit. i will be doing moneylines. road teams win a lot more in hockey than any other sport.

    the jm nhl system has started up. the first play will be tomorrow night. the normal system will have you laying heavy juice on the puck line every night. i have chosen to play moneylines instead. i wont win as much, but when i do, i will get a much bigger payoff. it happens often enough in the nhl to use this strategy with the labby. and not to mention...it's not as risky to your bankroll playing moneylines. i also will only be playing a 2 game chase with every team. just like with other jm systems...if they don't win for you on A or B, something's wrong.

    ok just for the record i don't dig this system but i thought i'd share some info tht may be useful to the folks here.

    5dimes is offering a promo where you get a discount for buying points. so for hoops you can buy 3 points for -165 instead of -170. you will save 5 cents per play. might not sound like much for the A bet but for the long haul it will make a big difference.

    now if things continue to go bad, i can always add numbers to the line so that the wager amount doesn't get too large. eventually one of these plays will win though.

    ok...for some strange reason the bruins played at 10 AM this morning. i didn't even notice that when i posted the play. anyway it was a win. now let's see what the panthers do tonight. i will update after that game.

    that was frustrating. both teams came back late and had a chance to take leads. instead, they gave it right back to the home team. after a 1-6 start in nhl, i may have to change strategies. we'll see.

    edh - have you found that sprinkling the losses over your remaining numbers has made the Labourchere better for you? I have read that you only need a 39% winning percentage to break even using the Labourchere method. Your modified approach seems to be more aggressive by the fact that your wagers would get quite large if you used only 1 line. I see that you are using 2 lines. That should spread things out a little.

    I have just started a 1 line labby using Teddy Covers plays. He seems to be consistent and has averaged around 55% over the year the past few years (from his website). He also seems to have fewer plays on a given day than a lot of cappers. I am a small time player but find this method very interesting and intriguing. But got the crap kicked out me following SBP.

    i posted sbp in here for a while. but i didn't bet on all his games. i don't know if he even broke 39 percent lol. but now i'm finding that my nhl ML system is just as bad lol. looks like i might have to start playing pucklines. maybe with the 2 line labby spread out, the juice wont seem so bad. i do find it much better because you can win back your losses faster without doubling up. so what kind of plays does Teddy use? does he have plays on all sports?

    edh appreciate the updates with all JM systems and hope you keep them coming even though the NHL has started somewhat poor with you not playing the puckline. Any JM NHL system plays on tap for tomorrow? Just wondering also, do you have the official JM system record so far playing the puckline?

    JW, you following any of JM's systems? If your following the hockey, what do you do with the Pucklines? I just took a look at some hockey lines before and damn +1 1/2 juice is absolutely ridiculous. Will playing just the ML be profitable? Thanks for the help guys.

    went 1-1 last night, but with the +odds, i make a small profit.

    bank: -7.38 units

    went down 1 number because of the small profit. i think i will continue with moneylines for a little longer. but i will risk small to win the base amount with heavy dogs, since their chances to win straight up are smaller.

    yeah so far the system i am playing is not doing well. i back tested a couple of seasons and it has never started like this before. usually the win/loss record is just under 50%, but with +odds, there was still a profit. i've also thought about playing pucklines since it would produce more wins. but like you said, the odds are very high. and i'm not sure if it would be any better since road trip teams are getting routed so far. chasing on the pucklines would be suicide. i'll look into it more. maybe do parlays if there is more than 1 going on.

    the original john morrison nhl system would have already had a loss on the very first play. the anaheim ducks were blown out in all 3 of their games so far. laying -200 juice would have been deadly to anyone's bankroll.

    boston bruins were an A win on sunday

    florida panthers covered on the B bet monday night

    colorado avalanche won the B bet last night

    atlanta thrashers are pending. C bet is friday at anaheim.

    so the jm official nhl record is 3-1 with a C bet pending. but 1 C loss chasing pucklines would put you down at least 20 units with those odds.
