Giants still can't tackle well this pre-season. They were an embarrassment and a disgrace defensively last year. Yet, somehow, how bad they were seems to be a secret still. Most Giant lines last year didn't make sense, giving them way too much credit. It looks like the 10-11 season will be doing the same. Carolina was a big dog last year going into New Jersey. They promptly ran all over the Giants terrible defense with Jonathan Stewart and even passed well. This year, they will be going into New Jersey with both DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. What the hell is with this line? I'm a Giant fan and know my team has a lot of issues.

Last year the Giants were in the playoff hunt and Carolina DESTROYED the Giants in a game they "had to win". Jonathan Goff is maybe the worst MLB in the entire league, and he's worse than most teams backups. The Giants addressed the safety position, but as long as J. Goff is starting I'm not liking that Giants D. He can't tackle, can't shed blocks and takes poor angles. That's not exactly a position you want to be weak at... The quarterback of your defense. Keith Bullock was a needed signing but that guy has to stay healthy.

even as an Eagles fan I agree the Giants win this big. I want them to lose but Carolina lost there best defensive player in Peppers, I don't see a pass rush. Eli will have all day and Nicks is due for a breakout season.

Carolina's Defense is looking very good but will have to score points for Carolina to win. Carolina had ZERO offensive touchdowns in the preseason. Smith and Stewart will return for the game against the Giants but it will not be enough for the Panthers. If the Giants can contain Smith the Panthers have nothing in the 2 WR department, NOTHING.
