My stats show that the Vikings were the second luckiest team in NFL for 2009 for lack of offensive interceptions allowed...second to the Cowboys. As for defensive interceptions the were in 2009 and usually are slightly inferior. As for fumbles picked up and hanging onto the ball...they are just average.
Given that you would expect 11.24 wins based on PS and PA I think we can knock this down at least one game to
10 expected wins or less due to "luck" factors.
Of course the line is set at 9.5 in my book so there is no point in wagering on this, except for the office pool. :-)
