BTW, above line was taken from Olympic. Don't see it up on Pinny or Cris yet. 5dimes has Steelers -5 against both teams.

With Seattle's dismantling of Carolina, line has shifted to -3/-3.5 now.

hmm...i see no reason why pittsburgh should be the fav over seattle. Looks more like a even game to me

lol...Cris has a 160/-190 ML atm...why would anyone bet there and not at pinny?
Pinny has 168/-178. Nothing against CRIS, but this is just bad.

Steelers only 3 point favourites is a gift imo.

Just hammered the Steelers -3, and a little on Under.

If you can get Pittsburgh at -3, you better take it because without significant injury it will never get any lower than that.

I guess I'm the only one that likes Seattle. I'll wait closer to gametime though.

After the hype from this win wears off, ML is going to move close to +200 for Seattle. That makes the -174 for Pittsburgh very attractive.

Unless something crazy happens, I will be playing on the Steelers, but this line (-3.5) is still too high. My own line is PIT -0.5. Anyway, I may play them in a teaser. Shouldn't be too hard to find another game to tease them with in the next two weeks. lol.

this should be a perty decent superbowl, even with these two teams playing in it.
i still gotta cap this game, and maybe even check out the prop bets they have to offer out there.

sorry my friend, luxury of playing at home gone now.steelers have way too many weapons for seahawk def.steelers have 4-5 playmakers on off unlike wash and caro with only 2.steeler def will shut down alexander and force seahawks to throw againststeeler speed in secondary.

Looks to me like an even matchup but I figured the public will back Pittsburgh more, so if you like Pittsburgh bet'em now and if you're taking Seattle wait til kickoff. I'll end up waiting and looking to get a high ML on Seattle.

I have a newfound respect for the Seahawks secondary. They completely shut down a quality vertical passing offense in the Panthers. Pairing that with Seattle's overpowering offensive line causes me concern if I am a Pittsburgh supporter. I think perfect capping in this game can only at best yield a 55% winner. Expect 1 big mistake to be the deciding factor. The game should be very close either way and a teaser or both sides of an alternative line may be the way to go.Originally Posted by tyetye64

im with the seahawks too...i think 1 reason they put them as underdog is because they know there are way more steeler fans out there who will bet

Let's not forget about the east coast bias quarm. There's alot of people who don't know about this Seattle team.

For what it's worth, I bet a large amount of money on Pittsburgh -3, because I knew that was the lowest I would see the line at. I will be coming back and taking Seattle +5 or 6, though for a lesser amount.Originally Posted by tyetye64

I've said all year that Seattle is a poor man's version of San Diego, and I think that honestly illustrates the difference in the AFC and NFC. Very few people think the #1 seed in the NFC will beat the #6 seed in the AFC, and frankly, they're right.

once pro touts break this game down line will move to at least 6-6.5.i've been gambling for over35 yrs.i am retired now at 60 yrs old.

I was also impressed with Seattles defense. Love the Steelers but I would rather take my chances with a good defense +4 or more points. Seattle has that "team of destiny" thing going on.

Wasnt the Seahawks once in the AFC? So we have a battle of two AFC teams.![]()

You do realize this is not a Seattle Seahawks message board? I am sure everyone loves how you come on here and rub it in the face of people that were on the other side of the game. It's easy to back your favorite team and go on about it when they are winning. Maybe you could give us something about the other side of the ball that would help us decide?Originally Posted by tyetye64
BTW, not hard to stop a team when you know they have one option and a 4th string RB. Seattle had LB's playing 15-20 yards off the ball because they knew Carolina was forced to throw the ball because of the RB situation. Any team in the NFL can do that. Seattle may have had the easiest road during the regular season and post season to the Super Bowl ever. But I will give them credit because they did what they had to do and made it to the game.

Pressure - you make me laugh Tye. They beat the crap out of CINCY, INDY and DENVER - Division winners on the road. Let me say again, they really did beat the crap out of all three of these teams. Seattle on the other hand was in a dog fight with the REDSKINS. That game could have been 10 -0 at the half. Pressure got to HASSELSUC with those crap passes he was throwing up everytime the Redskins blitzed.
I'll say it now so I don't have to talk shit to you later
Pittsburgh rolls - EASILY - they will win by at least 14
