I think it's a great idea. Why not to play one time in cold weather. I like it.

They should do everything to keep it a level playing field. Cold weather usually favors one team.

I truly can't ever see that happening. The Super Bowl and cold weather climates don't mix.

Why not, football should be played in the elements...its part of the game. Problem is the NFL is just as worried about weather messing up the rolling stones halftime show.

The snow would mess up the Super Bowl game.

Playing in perfect conditions can favor one team over the other as well. That great defense and running game that got you to the superbowl suddenly falls to Tom and Peyton throwing lasers because there's no wind or elements.

This is the real reason the Super bowl is always played in domes. Fan comfort, more concessions, big productions.

the superbowl is more a show/event than just a game. football purists wouldn't mid it but the league, fans, and the media would lay an egg if they had to play the game in the elements.

the wind/weather in the meadowlands is bruuuutal! it would be terrible for everyone. i like the event stuff but it doesn't make sense other than the jay Z parties...and i am not invited to those
