I think there is great value in the Car/Chi over this weekend. That total is way too low. Also, the weather is supposed to be unseasonable warm.

Too low? I was stunned that it opened above 30.

On Saturday, I like the Pats +3. Doubt this line will move much - maybe right before gametime.
I think the Pats will be able to pass the ball well in this one, Brady should have big game. And with their defensive front 7 back & healthy they will stop (I should say slow down) Denver's run attack. I'm still not sold on Plummer. I think he turns it over a couple times, especially if the Pats can grab an early lead. Also expect Bruschi back for this one. Different Pats team than played earlier at Denver this season.

I agree with you mari, Im not sold on Plummer myself. I cant back a team that has him as a QB. Maybe he will prove me wrong this year, but until then. I cant see backing him.

I didnt say that. Just saying that its hard to back a team that has Plummer at QB.

The playoffs are a new season more or less, so maybe if I find some value in a team in the playoffs, I will bet a NFL game again this season.

Carolina plus 3. I thought this line would drop to 2 by game time, similar to last week's Wash-Tampa game. But a lot of people like the Bears. I gotta take the playoff tested team on the road. Fox is 4-1 in the playoffs at Carolina including 3-0 on the road (wins at NY Giants, SL Rams and Philly). All very tough places to play.

Damn guys, that is a lot of money to put in GROSSman's hands! Keep in mind this his only 2nd start this entire season. I do trust Chicago's D a lot but still Caro may only need a big play or 2 to steal this game. And the fact I can never seem to get Caro picks right either all season long. But the good news is I am leaning Caro today so Chicago should beat them up ;p

Over/under, no idea. Not confident either way. I had predicted 17-13 win by Caro so that falls right on that.
