Would someone around that area or who follows that team closely please tell me what the buzz is around Marty's decision to play Brees. I mean Drew nearly got killed and now he's on the shelf for at least the next 18 weeks.

Good question. Unless they felt putting Rivers in, and him playing poorly, would hurt his trade value.

I live in L.A we get alot of Charger Talk since they are basically our
home team now. I have been hearing that the Chargers look like they
are going to try things out with Rivers,weirdly enough.. I keep hearing

I agree. Brees is a top 5 quarterback in the league. Unless they feel the injury will KO his career, switching to Rivers would be a disaster. That team is ready to return to the playoffs next season with a better schedule, which they'll get by finishing 3rd in the their division. These high drafted rookies mean nothing. Look at all the busts. Joey Harrington, Achili Smith, and on and on.
