That's just my gut feel in early April. Thing is, both of these teams will be fighting age and might fold late in the season with some emerging teams which we didn't expect actually getting to the Super Bowl. Falcons versus Texans, anyone?

In the NFC I like either Green Bay or longshot Atlanta. I would not rule out Minnesota all together, unless Favre does not come back. DAllas will be a popular pick, but no team has ever played in the Big GAme when their city hosted it. I will also rule out New Orleans, seeing as NFC South teams never repeat as champions, plus the fact that no NFC team has played in back to back Superbowls since Green Bay did it in 1998-1999.

The AFC is really wide open. San Diego is a lock to win the West once again, but they never get far in the playoffs. Indy is Indy. No suprises from that team. They are in the toughest conference in the NFL. The Ravens have a great shot at getting to the big game if they can find a more consistant offense. Out of their 8 losses last year, the team scored 15 or less points in 5 of them. They get a huge break playing Pitt in Pitt when Big Ben is still under suspension. The East is between the Pats and the Jets. I like the Ravens, but they are no lock.

i like the prediction but min wins! and im pretty sure a ot game cant evd in a 7 point victory, cuz if the teams scores a td 1st they win by 6 and if they would get a int or fumble td they wouldnt kick the pat, just a fyi for ya

I like them, but Minnesota is going to have a brutal schedule. The NFL didn't do the Pats any favors either.

The NFL North is going to be tough. Could be 3 teams from that division that make the playoffs and Detroit will be better too.

Remember, The Saints broke the trend of not winning the Super Bowl for 40 years.

The Saints are ranked #1 Points Per Game in the 08-09 season and 09-10 season.

From what I saw last season.

The Patriots are a better team than the Colts.
The Vikings are a better team than the Saints.
But the Colts and Saints had the best win loss record.

I predict either a Colts vs Saints Super Bowl part 2 or a Jets vs Saints Super bowl. I think the Packers could be a dark horse if Farve retires.

One thing to think about, guys, 2010 will have no salary cap.

I know money doesn't buy championships, but it sure doesn't hurt either.

Without digging into the numbers, I know the Vikings maxxed out the cap last year whereas the Packers left well over 10 million of cap space unused last season. So, this year, I expect the Vikings to spare no expense, if needed, and the Packers will be on a tight budget regardless.

I imagine other teams, like Dallas & Washington will have more leeway to go after players without a cap. If you didn't like these teams last year, this gives a few extra reasons to like them this year. Look out for other big spending teams as well, because spending big money isn't the double edged sword that it was in seasons past.
