    Well...if he's your "guy for the future", I can see not running him out there and getting him killed while your team still sucks (and the Brows DO suck!). And sitting for a while certainly worked out well for Phillip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers.

    OTOH, we've seen rooks come into the league and have success right away (Big Ben, Sanchez, Joe Flacco), but obviously on teams that didn't require them to do a whole lot.

    McCoy's not going to stretch the field with his weak arm. Teams will eat up his 5 - 7 yard passes. he can't throw much farther than that. McCoy is my pick as NFL bust. One pillow fight from re injuring his arm.

    As soon as the crowd gets anxious Mccoy will get in there next year... probably around games 13-16 when they are 5 games behind division lead.
