Default The JAGUARS should be totally embarrassed

Maybe they are trying to put a losing product on the field, and at the sametime, not put fans in the seats.

Looking back on it, I'm starting to think they should have just taken TEBOW(JAX native).

They would have ignited season ticket sales, Tebow jerseys would be flying off the rack...............and who knows, TEBOW could turn out to be a better than average QB or even an all-pro.

They had the worst draft of any team on the board in my opinion.

Yeah, they really went off the reservation.

Tyson Alualu was a stretch---considering that guys like Derrick Morgan will still on the roster---they even passed on Dez Bryant.

No clue what they were thinking.

    This is hilarious...................

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's not Jaguars gear flying off the shelves at local stores, it's Denver Broncos hats and t-shirts.

"The Broncos merchandise is flying off the shelves," said Droop Wilt of Sports Mania.

Sports Mania says Tim Tebow's Broncos jersey is now on order and should arrive next week.

Tebow's jersey was number six on the google trends hot search list Friday.

Sports Mania says right now it has no plans to order Tyson Alualu's Jaguars jerseys.

Jacksonville surprised many by drafting the California defensive lineman with the 10th overall pick.

"I've only had one call for his jersey," said Wilt.

As I understand it, there were plenty of teams trying to trade into that spot. Simply no reason to reach like they did for that player. Could have moved back a few spots, got more picks AND gotten Alualu.

whats sad is that they love that team down there and although not the greatest NFL stadium the "party" before the game was one of the best I was ever at
If they filed a team that tried to compete...winning cures everything
    Look at the Coyotes
They probably never should have gotten a team in the first place
Toronto or San Antonio would have been better choices

I realize that there is more to building a team than simply pleasing your fans, but you have to admit that's pretty funny.

    That's a good point...

The Jags could have moved out of the first round and still got the guy they wanted AND added a few 2nd round picks.

    Just a very odd pick.

    It was Oakland Raider-esque.

Jacksonville has had a terrible draft so far. The worst. San Diego is trying to give them a run for their money.

well im probably one of the 5 biggest jaguars fans alive, and it does address one of their main issues since they had the least sacks last year, but like everyone has said they should have just moved down. I dont mind the pick i just wish it was 20th overall not 10th. I also wish they would have picked up marty gilyard from cinci quote me now he will be a big time pro

They will be in Los Angeles soon

How LA hasn't had a team in THIS long is an absolute disgrace to the NFL.

  16. #16

LA has not had a team this long because LA does not want a team. Where are they going to play? There is a lot of talk about new stadiums popping up here and there, but so far, no action. What will you call them? The "Los Angeles Caballeros?" That certainly would fit. Then, the Jags would have to change divisions with the Chiefs. How well would that sit with Kansas City fans? The Chiefs are the team that is the furthest East in the AFC West. They are also not that far from Houston or Indy.

I can not believe the Jags have not tried to improve their awful offense 1 bit in this draft. Completely pissed with our draft and to think on Thursday I had such high hopes for what could be possible this weekend. I guess this will be another season of piss poor football here in Jax

Getting Tebow would have helped them alot. Not on the field, but with fans. Hometown boy, and that's where he wanted to play. Ticket sales & merchandise would have skyrocketed, & Timmy could have been home to suckle at mommys teet, win win for everyone involved

I hope they stay the hell out of L.A. We get the best of all the games on T.V. now. We do not need to be forced to televise games that some 3rd rate team plays. Let's face it. Unless you are rich, or work for the right people, you can not afford to see a NFL game. I much rather watch the good games on T.V. than have a team in L.A.

what a joke of a team. The only thing I can think of, is that they thought they could pick up McClain, but went into panic mode when he got picked up at #8.

Absolutely! I was at the Sugar Bowl, and his acknowledgement of the fans was first class.

I've heard estimates that say the Jags would be worth 4 times what they are worth now if they were in LA... I don't think they are trying to pick bad players but pick players that aren't popular or don't make sense so that people won't support it.

Miami Dolphins did real well in the draft IMO. They took players they needed. Defensive ones!

Why does anybody give two shits about the NFL draft?

Several studies have shown virtually no correlation to wins from how well teams draft.
