With one trade Wednesday, followed by a reported second trade Friday, the Miami Dolphins did something that a lot of teams never do.
They admitted they blew a premium draft pick.
When Miami drafted receiver Ted Ginn with the ninth overall pick in 2007, there were a lot of eyes opened and a lot of questions. But the Dolphins thought they were drafting a star receiver/returner who could add the big play.
Instead, they got a receiver who was soft, which meant they used a premium pick on a return man.

He was compared to Randy Moss if not mistaken. He may very well turn into a real solid NFL player. Good move by the Niners, IMO. I think San Francisco is a team on the rebound back to glory in due time. This isn't the Detroit Lions.

Guy could have been a stud returner and still might be. Decent #3 WR, not a 1 from day 1.

Parcell's maturity and ability to make clutch decisions and make things happen continues to amaze.

BigDad the only thing that i like about the footballs offseason is not seeing you stupid ass posts. If you knew anything about the dolphins then you would know that Hartline, Camirillo and bess were all better than Ginn. As others have stated he is pretty much a glorified punt returner making a whole bunch of money. I still think with the right team he could turn into something but his isnt good in Mia, in fact i doubt he will work out in SF either. Ginn is soft as they come, is scared to get hit and statistically has the worsts hands in the league. He dropped %20 of the balls passed to him.

I think he has to focus on wr, or kick returning, don't think he can do both.

I mean, look at hester: ever since the bears decided to make him a big part of the passing game his abilities as a returner has diminished. you can't tell me those two trends don't correlate with one another.

use him as a full-time wide-out, or a returner, doesn't look like he can be successful at both.

wtf is wrong with ppl? Frisco ppl actin excited like they really did something here...they got a good yet overpaid kick returner nothing more, the guy cant catch, runs sloppy routes, and honestly looks lazy most the time, congrats im sure that is the missing piece... gotta love the folks around here that think they know fb better than Parcels, something tells me he knows a little more than you and if he thinks the guy is only worth a 5th it tells me he didnt want his sorry ass around
