Arrow Steelers eying up Dez Bryant

"The Steelers are hosting five college players today, including Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant, a projected first-round pick in the NFL draft later this month. Also meeting with the Steelers today are Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate, Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount, Utah linebacker Koa Misi and William"& Mary linebacker Adrian Tracy. The Steelers hosted with Iowa offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga yesterday.
They have met with 19 out-of-area draft prospects. Teams are allowed 30 such visits in advance of the draft.

They need to be eying up a shut down corner IMO

Yes, a CB who doesn't watch every play will be a great addition.

Steelers meet with 6 more draft prospects

"The Steelers are meeting with six NFL draft prospects today, including two that have been linked to the team in various mock drafts. Idaho guard Mike Iupati and Florida center/guard Maurkice Pouncey headline the group that is visiting the Steelers at their South Side practice facility. Both have been projected as first-round picks. The Steelers are also meeting with defensive linemen Linval Joseph of East Carolina and Clifton Geathers of South Carolina as well as Arizona tight end Rob Gronkowski and South Florida wide receiver Carlton Mitchell."

there is no way the steelers draft dez bryant, they will draft a corner for sure, they need corner help bad. They have a defensive minded coach and he was pissed at how his defense played last year.

They do need an upgrade at defense, but I would draft O-Line, O-Line, O-Line, O-Line etc. I know Ben holds the ball a little longer than he should, but their entire offensive line is garbage. If Ben could not scramble or break tackles it would be worse than David Carr getting sacked.

Their offense is fine they can match any in the NFL blow for blow in case you didn't notice but this is what makes Ben great, running for his life give him protection and he will become mediocre at best, its their 2nddary meaning shut down corner needed the day they let McFadden go

Their offense is fine, but not O-Line. It does make Ben good though, but a few consistent seasons of getting drilled then he won't be around as long. They definitely need another corner though. I am excited to see what they do this draft.

Well it looks like Ben and Santonio are in the clear now, just in time to focus on the upcoming season by the beginning of season it will be blown over and clear skies above

There is no way Pitt takes Bryant. To do so they would have to trade up, and with the gaping holes on defense to fill, they are not going to give up a 3rd or 4th round pick just to trade up and get another problem child on their team.

I wouldn't be surprised if Holmes is traded during the draft. He's in the last year of his contract and can't stay out of trouble.

I think Dez to the Cowboys would be best... The next "little t.o.".

Dez will most likely go to Cardinals 26th pick over all but if Pittsburgh wanted him they could have him easily
