. Skins must be giving up a lot. I don't know why you any team would trade within their division

Eagles must not be to high on him to trade him inside division.

Just saw it also across the Bottom Line. I could care less where he goes. I just want Kolb in there. See ya Donnie. It's been real!!!

looks like a 2nd rnder this year and conditional 3-5th next year. The Skins have Jason Campbell, not sure I like this move for them ..

yeah, very surprising. Usually teams don't trade key players to teams in their own division. Maybe they are paying him under the table to sabotage the redskins?

ESPN reported that McNabb asked to be traded to Washington.

Terrible move by the Eagles here. As much as I do love Jason Campbell and think he can be a good, if not great quarterback under a good offensive line, Donovan McNabb is just a huge upgrade for the Skins here. Philly just went from having arguably the best QB in the division, to clearly having the worst.

Kevin Kolb is a good QB. Only thing he lacks is the long ball. He will be way more accurate than McNabb and accuracy is a huge factor in the West Coast Offense.

Andy Reid has balls of steel. You're giving a guy two chances next season to shove it in your face. The compensation package is fine and I think that's perhaps what swayed this is that no one else was willing to give up the 2nd rounder ... but Wow. I feel for Jason Campbell because he's a good QB on a crappy team. That O-Line for Washington was not solid, Campbell got beat up last year a lot.

At least the drama is done and now the KOLB Era begins.

Incidentally, the Eagles Message Board on their official site is OFFLINE. The site routinely gets bombarded when big things happen, so that is hilarious.

I'll wait to see him prove himself, until then, he is the fourth best QB in the NFC East, maybe even fifth.

Kolb is ready - McNabb has been very average the last couple years. McNabb no longer runs this takes a lot of pressure of the defense. He is just an average pocket passer. Think it makes both teams better though. Campbell is horrible.

A lot of scouts think Kolb will be really good, and his accuracy really impresses me. With the 2nd rounder we could draft Colt McCoy or Dan LeFevour for insurance, lol.

I've been hating on McNabb since the last lost NFC Championship. I can't wait to see if I'm right.

Because he's a perennial choke artist who misses easy throws?

The Eagles had to move on. They needed a new direction. Hopefully Vick will be that new direction somehow... he's a good quarterback...

Shocked. McNabb may be a decent QB, but if the offensive line can't protect him, his career will be over sooner than later.

Man you must be on crack my boy ROMO is the best QB in the NFC East. Look at all the stats and record he has. If his oline would block for him and Garret knew how to call plays he would have won us many championships. Romo 4 MVP this year I say
