SF D = Big day for Stephen Jackson. That D-line needs work. I'm not sure which side to be on here. I'm leaning towards the Rams only because they have home field advantage and they are coming off a loss. Smith isn't throwing down the field like he should be. He does one check and dumps it underneath. Should be a good game and I might fly to STL to watch it.

Coming off a disappointing opener to a solid Carolina team I feel St. Louis will bounce back in a swift manner. This St Louis team has a lot of fire power and it was held in check by a strong Carolina defense. Last week Edge had strong runs that would make you question the SF defensive line against a more powerful runner in Jackson. Gore will counter with 80+ yards however I think STL will place 9 in the box and force alex smith to beat them. And the jist, I frankly dont think Alex Smith can carry this team with his arm just yet. SF will fall behind in the 1st half and scramble to recover.
Give the points (but play it safe and buy a half point, taking -3).
I also prefer the under with these two backs combining for 45+ carries
