As a Redskins fan, I hope this happens. While I don't really think McNabb is great anymore, I would much rather play against Kolb then him.

Who said this is about Kolb? This is all about Vick becoming the starter.

Kolb will do fine as the starter. My boy is a ballboy for the eagles and he is always talking about how good kolb is looking

i dont think mcnabb gonna go anywhere but this will be his last year playin in philly if he makes it through the year. i am more confident that kolb can carry the team. in his first 2 games startin he has thrown for over 300+ yards. i cant wait till kolb gets in there. not 2 mention when was the last time a black quarter bak won the super bowl. not racist or anything but just doesnt happen

I'm sure any QB in the NFL would look good on the sidelines to a ballboy. Not saying he's bad or anything, but that's not the greatest source.

Doug Williams! He may be the only one.

looks like WIP and the Dialy News have decided to run another player out of town

Kolb is the greatest ever after 2 starts you people are too fragile mentally to be bettors, good day

Kolb is ready - became first QB to throw for 300 yards in first 2 starts. Let him grow with the young playmakers on offense D jackson, Maclin, Mccoy, Celek. They add a high draft choice and shed a lot of salary. Now is the time

It's just time for a change. There's a big misconception out there that Philadelphia just hates Donovan. Sure, there's some big mouths in town who rip the guy, but for the most part people are pretty objective about it. He's done a lot of great things for the franchise but he's had his chances to take the Eagles to the next level and win it all and that's where he has come up small. I don't know how Kolb will do but they've invested a lot in this guy and they think he can play.

It's time to just move on. Who knows, if Mcnabb goes to a good team maybe he can win a super bowl (although I highly doubt it). But we gotta give the kid his turn now and head in a new direction.

Bad fit for both but the Rams are great at making terrible decisions. Mcnabb is horrendously inaccurate these days and since the Rams still have no line, he wouldn't get close to the championship he's desperately seeking here towards the end of his NFL career. With that being said... McNabb will stay with Eagles mainly because they're keeping Reid. When Reid goes, so too will McNabb.

    Vick to Panthers?

think about it people who think he goin to rams. say he does and kolb takes over the reins in philly. if kolb gets hurt early in the season we are doomed vick can not take that team to the playoffs. i love vick and all but just to inconsistent. andy reid and lurie will not fuk themselves like this. if they do i will hang myself

Stop with this b.s. man. Are you from Philadelphia? Because if you are you know this just isn't true.

Yea you have a point, but considering he has other quarterbacks to compare to it's not to difficult to judge talent.

let the kids play i completely agree. run with them as soon as you can and keep them together for as long as possible. they all proved that they can and know how to play the game. so start the chemistry now and this can be a very dynamic team for a long time to come if the birds can keep them 2gether

I think Vick would be alright this year for the Eagles if they have to. Not saying it's going to happen but with another off-season under his belt, he'd be much more "consistent" (even with extremely low play time) than last year.

McNabb is the most over rated QB in the last decade.

Take the 12 million you save on Mcnabb and fill holes elsewhere. Eagles have 2 QBs approching Free Agency, they invested a high draft choice and 4 years of development into Kolb at this point. They won't be able to pay both. Green Bay had a similiar situation with Favre and Rodgers and SD had LT and Turner.

think Eagles would be OK with Kolb and Vick - They would work Vick in more. But Kolb would clearly be the starter

I agree with McNabb being overrated the last 2 years. BUT, you cannot argue with being in 4 straight NFC championship games. I'd kill for that.

Doug Williams is the only black QB to win a SB. There have been black QBs who got rings (Lewftwich, Batch, etc) but these players didnt actually play and win the game. They were just along for the ride.

McNair and McNabb played in SBs but did not win.
