Default Colts fans should be concerned...

Caldwell is a total puppet and has ZERO input on playcalling and decisions
Caldwell always has the same stone expression on his face.
He wasn't coaching, talking, and 'running' the sidelines like a guy who was 'into the game decisions'.
Sean Peyton, on the other hand, was animated, coaching, talking, making decisions and really running that team's every move.
Has anyone ever seen Caldwell 'coaching' anybody up?

    The Colts were outcoached

The game turned on the onside kick obviously but the colts still had a chance to tie the game but Manning threw a pick to seal it. Why is it when Manning screws up no one wants to blame him and use every other excuse. He gave the Saints the game. At least he was humble enough to come on after and admit he messed. The colts arent going to be coached by a guy who runs the show as long as Manning is there. Manning runs the show.

Good post...agree for the most part! Caldwell has had a good year though but was badly outcoached last night! Manning was hot for a good part of the game but did throw the pick that sunk the Colts! They should've been playing for OT but were rushing their 2 min. offense for some reason? Brees prob gets NO the winning FG anyway if the Colts tie it! Garcon still dropped that big 2Q catch when the Saints couldn't stop Indy...not Mannings fault! Manning wasn't the one that ran the ball 3x to give Brees the ball back at the end 1H. Most importantly...not the one that let Brees complete 99% of his throws either! Brady has 3 SBs because the New England defense could always contain their opponents to give him the ball back! Manning only had 8 drives and the one at the end 1H was taken out of his hands! Still he screwed up...threw the pick...what can you say? I love the guy and we'll be back w/Bob Sanders next year!

I definitely like the way Peyton coaches as compared to Caldwell. It doesn't hurt to show some emotion every once in awhile

Caldwell coaches this team? I thought Peyton was the coach. I think that Caldwell guy is actually a ball boy or something.

it is all moot. even if Manning ties the game at 24, the Saints would have won. The Colts D sucks, just like i been sayin for 2 weeks. Saints 6 possessions after starting after the 2 punts....FG, Downs, FG, TD, FG, TD, end of game. they would have easily gone down the field and kicked the game winning FG, which would have been more excited i guess. the only time they stopped them was the 4th and goal, but if it was a tied at 24, Saint wouldn't need a TD. Their defense sucks.

I thought the Colts were a little to conservative in the game. Only 1 badly thrown deep ball all game. They set themselves up for that pick by nickel and diming the entire game. But then again thats easy to say from the couch. Oh well Peyton is still the best in the game in my mind.
