so if its a uncapped year what does that mean?? i heard that if you made the championship games in your conference you cant sign a UFA unless you lose one! is that true? im confused on how you can sign players or what their contracts can be? can one team just load up on a players for one year?

It will be all screwed up.
For one thing, for some reason free agents with 4 yrs & 5 yrs tenure will be restricted free agents, so if you sign them, current team can match, and if you get the player, you give up a draft choice.
Usually after 4 you are unrestricted.
If there is no cap this yr, you have to have 6 yrs to be unrestricted. This limits pool a LOT.
So there will be fewer players, but since there is no cap there should be higher salaries demanded by those that are out there unrestricted.
Will be a fiasco.

I just had a big list with all the changes
something bout not signing a player unless you lost one
and something about one player being able to sing up to 5.* mill for the final 4 teams
