I'm thinking of betting the Colts in the Super Bowl, largely based on how Brees looked against the Vikings. No accuracy, no zip on the ball, wobbly spiral - he looked like a mediocre high school quarterback. Was he hurt, or did he just have one of those days? (If the former, is he better? If the latter, how can you have "one of those days" in a game that big??)

Do it make any sense to bet against the Saints because Drew Brees had 1 bad game ?

He could come out next week and throw for 400 yards. You shouldn't bet like that.

Sure. It's definitely not the only reason. The Colts blew by two outstanding defensive teams to get here. New Orleans was dominated by the Vikings, and only won because of turnovers. Manning is super hungry and has been super accurate. There is no way the Saints will be able to contain him. If Brees isn't right, the 6 points might as well be 16 points, because the Saints have no chance to keep it close.

He has absolutely no chance to pas for 400 yards. He was completely unnerved last week, and it will be worse in the Superbowl. Not only that, but the word is out to flag any New Orlenas player gthat gives the slightest hint of trying to rough up Manning. The Saints can thank their dumb ass assistant coach for running his dumb ass mouth for that. The Colts will get at least 2 frist down by penalties and one score because the Saints are so f**king stupid that they told the entire world their defensive game plan.

Agree, he did not look right. He might come back for a lot of yards, but there is a possibility that something is wrong a la Brady.

I can't remember the play but it happened in the first half, because he looked pretty good in the first half and came out after the break and looked like shit.
