Default Kind of thinking the Saints might be frauds.

Brees is great and Bush is good and they got a good linebacker and yea I know they got some good players. But that little football freak who lives somewhere in my head says they might not be able to beat Tampa Bay much less a mistake free Colts team.

The bad calls late in the Saints game deprived us of a great match up I believe. However, this may be about as easy or easier than grabbing Peyton over Sanchez.

Would not neccesarily call them frauds, but I don't think they're on the same level as the Colts for sure

Agee 100%. I watched them and was not really impressed. I think Manning and Da Colts win with ease if they play No Turn Over Ball11

    Good luck.

A team that scored the most points and allowed the least all year long can not be considered Frauds. Both the Saints and Colts have weapons....Those players on both teams aren't great individually (not counting Brees and Manning because they both are great) but put in the systems that they are in together both offenses have one hell of a squad.

I love the way the Saints blitz and get after the QB. They may not get a ton of sacks but they make impacts...they make the opposition's QB uncomfortable. The colt's Defense is decent in a lot of facets but they aren't great either. They are going to have a tough time slowing down that Saints offense just as they did all year long against formidable opponents.

If the Jets can pass for over 300 yards against the Colts, what can the Saints do?

Saints very lucky to beat the viks it could have easly been a 14 point win the other way or more!! Not saying they cant beat the colts but i dont think they will!!

2 good teams in the superbowl.. but yeah there were a few bad calls by the ref..

I wouldn't call then a fraud. I remember someone called the vikings a fraud earlier in the year and everyone on here agreed. Now they are the best in the NFC. I think the Saints are a good team that when they are focused can beat anyone, but for some reason that defense can not seem to keep it together. I can say they are a fun team to watch, but it will be hard to put money on them against the colts.

This might be a good year to get in an over bet.

Yes the saints didnt beat the vikings without some fortune. Any one with half a brain knew the vikings were the better team before that game started. The saints are going to have trouble stopping manning, but i think the difference will be coaching. The colts adjusted to the jets blitz and will figure out the saints as well. The colts defense is very quick and did allow some yardage against the jets but i think they will make more stops and that will be the difference.

All the frauds in the NFL have been exposed and eliminated. This SuperBowl is between the 2 best teams in the league! No Cinderellas, no mediocre teams getting hot at the end. The 2 best teams period!

Colts are going to spank em. I'm getting my -5 right now before it jumps up a lot more next week.

In recent times the books have tried to hold big game numbers. Without studying it or talking to guys that know I would say this line will close Colts -5.5 maybe -6 but certainly not 6.5. The books will probably be giant Saints fans. They probably should have opened this at -7.5 and ease it down to -7 or -6.5 for balanced action.

I don't think anyone is giving the Saints enough credit here. You can't blame the losses at the end of the season when they didn't even start the starters. They have to be a good team if they beat the vikings, jets, eagles, and are in the Super Bowl

You are right, they smoked a very beat up and tired Cardinal's team with multiple injuries, then they needed Minny to turn the ball over 5 times to their 1 and still only won by 3. Let's not forget the last 5 games of the regular season,3 losses to Carolina, Tampa, and Dallas, and and 2 wins (both by 3 points) over Washington and Atlanta. No way Indy loses this game, crown the champs and send the MVP to the Sheriff.

Scrap you're right. You can give them a bit of a pass for those last 5 games of the regular season. One could also argue the Indy defense has not had to face even a half way decent offense in a pretty good while. A good offense makes a line like +5 to +6 a .

No dominant team in the NFL this season... there were 6 really good teams that all had a shot.

Keep talking, keep inflating the line! I want a huge ML win for the Saints!

Arizona was tired? Well they should have won more games so they could have got a bye.

Saints lost final 3 games of the season? Well didn't the Chargers win their last 11?

The team that gave up 5 turnovers didn't lose the game. The team that forced 5 turnovers WON it!

It will be a good game!

I hope you're right Carseller4. The guy who owns the Saints is from my home town. We have some connections to the Saints here in Texas.

But if you do bet the Saints Moneyline please do it in the SBR Points Sportsbook! Thanks.

They sure forced a lot of turnovers. That's what these entire playoffs have been about. Turnovers. Everything else is pushed way into the background.

Can the Saints win the turnover battle against the Colts? Absolutely.

John, the Saints gameplan yesterday looked more like a don't lose plan. All season they have just gone out and done what it took. Aggressive down the field attacks on everyone. Yesterday they looked scared to death at the realization that they were this close to the first ever Super Bowl. The Vickings fumbled and intercepted their way into the loss mainly because the Saints tip toed through the game.

Indy has the experience but New Orleans has the better overall team. I can't bet against Payton in this spot though. Especially since the Saint's could possibly be more impressed with being there than playing there. Shootout in the making. Colts by 10.

Wal you are correct. Anyone who watched the Saints this year knows they played very conservative yesterday!

I think only Vilma, Will Smith, and Sharper could play on the Colts D! Colston might be 2nd-3rd receiver...no other Saint WR would play for Indy! Saints don't have a Dallas Clark either? Saints are definitely more dangerous w/Bush on special teams but thats about the only advantage I see for the Saints? Peyton is ON FIRE and the Colts don't help the enemy w/turnovers and penalties! Colts by atleast 10...book it!

I dont think so. I think they just couldnt. They could not execute against that defense. Dallas could not either. It looked a lot like the Dallas game.

At least the Saints do not have to worry about seeing that kind of defense again.
