Default B.S. pass interference call gave game to N.O.

Minnesota should have won that game.
too many men in the huddle arrrgghh
    fumbled balls arrgghh
in OT - ref called pass interference when ball was far out of reach and Viking defender was merely falling down on NO receiver
last play the receiver also didn't really catch that ball
too bad Favre played well and Minny defense was great
refs can't keep out of it
just like they favored Pitt against Arizona and Seattle
New Orleans is a dirty team
have to go Indy this one.
    feel bad for Brett

If Minnesota was the better team, Sir, then they would have won it in regulation when they had the ball in close range of an easy FG and they would have struck then and not ran the ball on 1st and 2nd down, then throwing an INT on 3rd down. It was a combination of coaching and Favre on that poor possession to end regulation for Minnesota. There really should have been no need for OT in this game or at least give me a missed FG (attempt) by Minnesota to end the regulation time. Either way, One call by no one made the difference in this game from what I seen. If anything it was the progression of play calling by the Vikings coaching staff to end regulation.

    Take care

Snowball you should know how the world of sports wagering is, it makes no sense to work yourself up over it cause there is nothing you can do except learn from what you witnessed and except it as your own mistake then put it to rest like I myself do just remember this moment every-time you make an important wagering decision from this moment forward

Really, it had some of the worse calls in a game I have seen in a while. Both sides got horrible calls. And yes, that PI took the cake.

I agree that one should not get worked up over this shit, but what was his mistake and what could he learned from this, aside from the fact he had the right side, but they just ****ed up 78 times and lost by 3.

Minny is poorly coached and play calling on final set of downs Minny had ball was horrific. He should lose his fukkin job.

The refs decided the game with that call not even close to being a catchable ball

f\*\*k off, refs gave Vikings all the calls especially that penalty for driving favre in the ground a million hours after the play was dead. Vikings lost and they deserved it. Favre tried to pull a Paul Pierce injury so he can get mote calls from the refs. Saints won and deserved it. Who dat who dat who dat bitches

Bullshit...What about the 3 penalties on NO in the first quarter that gave Minny their 2nd TD? The refs were doing everything they could to get Favre in the SB or keep the game close...Bullshit roughing the passer call...But I guess they don't count.

    Fukk Favre..

there were so many shit calls in this game yet minny backers wanna blame the refs for there inexcusable play throughout the game...5 turnovers and shit coaching cost minny the game nothing else...hell you wanna play the blame game i say its the refs fault min was even in the game keeping all there drives alive on bs penalties

Games all come down to breaks, turnovers. It is hard to say who is better in many games but Minny was clearly better.

Plain and simple, the Vikings have no one to blame but themselves. The pass interference call was a small microcosim in the grand scheme of things. How often does a team turn the ball over that many times and win?? Even a team like the Lions would win a game by forcing that many to's.

They should have already capitalized on the 23423 mistakes they had, game wouldn't have even been close by then.

I didn't know the NFL used SEC officials... Those guys were horrible on both sides of the ball.

Having 12 men in the huddle is what beat the Vikes.

  22. #22

the int blew it, 12 men led to it but the int didnt give longwell a chance even though i bet he would have missed it but we will never know now

Favre should have run the ball on the roll out and would have possibly made a 50 yard or less attempt by Longwell.

there were a lot of calls both ways that were questionable, 2 personal fouls on the saints that were iffy, but in the end cant blame anyone but the conservative play calling when the vikes got to the 35 in the 4th quarter, and Favre making one of his patented boneheaded throws in a playoff game....

the penalty took them out of fg range and what would have been most likely a running play to set up the fg

I was thinking to myself that he was due for one of those and sure enough.

at least fg range is still having the ball, throwing a int you dont have the ball any more. chilldress is a ho mo more than anyone but favre still did it again, 2007 all over again, exact same shiit

The refs had no impact on that game. They made shitty calls against both teams. I hope the whole crew gets fired after they review the game for accuracy.

I wanted Minny to win, but it's hard to win a game when you can't hold onto the football. Minny was the better team last night, but a few of their players let everyone down by spitting up the ball to NO over and over and over...

Minny got 2 Td's on drives that should have stopped. Phantom late hit out of bounds. That hit on Bret Farve on the reverse, he was trying to throw a block and got knocked the f\*\*k out. Both leading too 2 Td's. So the game shouldn't have even been close. 5 turnovers and the game goes to Overtime, come on they got stopped 3 times on 3rd downs and penalties that didn't exist to keep drive alive and they scored a TD.

This all goes back to the Texas and Alabama game, If Colt McCoy would have played they would have won. No guarantee that would have happened. The Minn/NO game was a very weird game though I can't lie. The refs were clearly on Minnesotas side, New Orleans had 12 more penalties in the game then Minnesota!

Saints not only had to beat the Vikings, but they had to beat the refs also.

They did! Oh when the Saints go marching in!

Saints had the ball up 7, if brees doesnt fumble that damn snap the saints probably cover the spread.. crazy game that foosball

They even tried to steal Bush's TD from him! If it wasn't for replay, the refs would have ripped the Saints on that one too.

How many times did Minny turn the ball over? It was a small miracle they still had a shot. They should have won, but did not. Because they didn't protect the ball. They should have let Favre call the plays on their final drive, instead of settling for safe little runs once they were within FG range. In the end they played not to lose, and got what they deserved.

How about the drive in OT when Colston hit the ground but the ball popped up softly where 2 Vikings could grab it and they both dropped it! "Fumbles on the ground...fumbles on the ground...looking like a fool with their fumbles on the ground"

How do you get a 12 men in the huddle penalty after a timeout on 3rd down when you're already in FG range to win the game, absolutely clueless team then Favre prolly coulda ran for the first down or at least made it a less than 50 yrd FG to win the game but instead stops and throws an INT, how any Minny backer can blame the refs is beyond me, look to that last drive, they were cruisin down the field with plenty of time and timeouts, had 1st and 10 on the 35 then went 2 running no gains, then a 12 men in the huddle penalty after a timeout and an INT on 3rd down against a defense that looked asleep, Brees throws an INT on 3rd down in OT do you think the Saints backers should bitch about the Favre roughing the passer plays cost em the game? Fuk no the Vikes blew it on that last drive, the defender that stupidly tackled the receiver when the ball was overthrown to draw that PI flag just iced the cake
