    YES -325
    NO +265

He didn't look like he is ready to retire. almost won MVP and almost went to SB.. he will play 2 to 4 more yrs.. He will come back to try to win SB. he wants to redeem himself.

He still sucks on conference final game, just like he did 2 years ago against the Giants. Another interception.

He will come back next year, especially since he has a team that could go to the SB next year.

He will retire for sure....but it's absolutely not 100% that he won't unretire - as usual

He proved that he does not need a pre-season to be sharp. He had one of his greatest years in his career. He is still under contract. Most improtantly, he seems to really enjoy playing this season. He will be back. He will love next year's schedule. A return trip to New Orleans, plus the Patsies, Jets, Eagles and Washington on the road. He gets the Fish, Bills, Cowgirls and G-men at home, plus the Cards. You are lookng at a bunch of good QB's that he can show up. Eli, McChoke, Brady, Romoman, and possibly Warner. This may be the biggest challenge of his career.

That's a great point. The NFL would love Favre to come back, so many compelling matchups.

    Brees-Favre rematch should be epic.
Warner-Favre whoever loses is forced to retire. haha
McNabb-Favre so many historic great games between these two.
Romo-Favre Favre vs Cowboys is always interesting.
Eli-Favre Payback for Favres OTHER OT NFC championship loss.
Brady-Favre Two of the modern greats match up.
Sanchez-Favre The new Jets QB versus the old Jets QB.
Rodger-Favre Don't forget we get two Packers rematches.

Thank you for the line correction. Apparently a Big Bet came in this evening at the Mississippi Riverboat Sportsbook. Favre is now -550 to retire and +400 to Return (Decision is First Decision announced upon completion of NFL season.)

That last part makes it tough. He's done the retire then unretire thing two years in a row now. Maybe two and a half years if we figure how he kept dragging his feet longer and longer every year to decide what he'd do.

I wonder how long this prop would allow Favre to drag his feet, is there a calendar deadline for him to announce something? The way Childress talked in a recent interview, there is no timeline for Favre to announce anything. That leads me to think that we literally won't hear a decision for months.

Still, I'd take the +400 for him to flat return. Favre did the "I'm retired" thing the last couple years as a way to manipulate himself off a team. There's no evidence, in my mind, that he's trying to manipulate himself off this Vikings team. If he's playing next year, he's a Viking. Add that to the fact that this guy isn't going to retire until he's literally physically unable to play and based on his performance this year, he's just as solid as he's ever been in this HOF career.

I think if he stays healthy and able to play why not? He is still in the top half of the quarterbacks that started this year.

the line has got to be "until the end of next year"...who gives a shit if he retires now and then a few weeks into the season the vikings look wanting of a qb (likely) and call up favre begging to give the guy millions of dollars.

I'm guessin his wife has a waaaaaay different look as she's spending his millions on Rodeo Dr. He'll be back and she'll support every bit of that decision.

He's done. He'll be able to look at the career season he had and dwell on that, not one pass. That game wasn't his fault because of one pass and he knows it. I say if he's smart he's done. After that beating he took....if anything he will now for the first time in his career question his durability and ultimately he'll make the decision to retire. Bank on it.

Give me +3400 on he retires in the next 2 months, and unretires near preseason.

I don't think he retires until he is traded back to Green Bay, which won't happen until Holmgren comes back to Green Bay, which won't happen until he finishes with the Browns, which could take a couple of seasons, so ETA Favre retiring around 2014-2015. You heard it here first.

He may as well play for 20 years. Nice even number. Best chance is with Minnesota. They are a good team as is and he fits in.
