    Favre can run hot and cold. If Favre becomes an interception factory, it could get ugly. But I think he'll be fine.

    Another thing, if Brees gets hot, Favre may not be able to keep up. Favre is great, but the Saints can hang points.


    Even so, I think the pros and cons balance out and the answer is to take the Vikings ML getting nice odds.

    A rather simple question. First, the Saints special teams are much better than the Vikes. Next, Minny is no more than a .500 team on the road. The crowd noise will get to Farve. Next, the Saints defense is ,uch faster than the Cowboy defense. Next, the Saints offense will not give the ball away as much as Dallas's offense did. There are a few reasons why New Orleans is the favortie in this game.

    I have heard some good info in the media and it looks pretty promising. If the Vikings play well and the Saints don't the Vikings will win. These guys are brilliant, easy money.

    It all lives and dies with Jared Allen, if you want to look at one player.

    If Allen can get pressure, the rest of the Vikings defense opens right up. If Allen can get neutralized, Brees can pick them apart. That matchup is the key to the game. I think Allen has been living for a game like this, I'm betting on him.

    Are the Saints formerly (Aints) the NFLs Cubbies and at one time The Red Sox. Are they the team that can't win the big one? This is by far their best chance and haven't been around long enough to be compared to the other teams, Yet!

    Do you know the last time Favre won a road playoff game? I'm sure Brett can't remember either...(12 years ago)
    Do you know how many times Vikings won on the road this year? 4
    Of those 4 wins, 1 team had a winning record (GB) Clev, Det, St.Loius
    Do you know that Favre has more INTs than TDs in road playoff games?

    Saints win...and cover easily....Really!
