Default I PICKED THE JETS OUTRIGHT last week I'M PICKING the JETS to BEAT THE COLTS OUTRIGHT

    1.Rex Ryan stated that he's not kissing Bellichick's ring's--WHERE THE F-CK is Bellichick?----not playing

2 Darrell Revis will shutdown Reggie Wayne.Revis is the best coverman in the game. He's shutdown every bigtime receiver.

3.The Ravens won in 2000 with defense and so will the Jets--Leonard is a sparkplug--the kid throws his hat in there everytime making big plays.---The defense in general is on top of their game

4 Sanchez is not a compiler but he's coming through big when it counts and not making mistakes. The touchdown pass to Dustin Keller was clutch,top-notched,bigtime,proved to me that he has what it takes to go all the way

5.Team unity--Rex Ryan has this team believing. In life, you don't have to be the best but if YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF,you'll ACHIEVE. BELIEVE and ACHIEVE.Ryan stated that the Jets will be making a trip to the White House.Well,it might happen in his rookie coach. He has the same fire that his dad,Buddy Ryan did.-(The players loved Buddy Ryan and they love Rex)--That's what you want!

6.No offense to Peyton Manning. He's in the elite with Marino when it comes to pure passing. The man is a coach on the field. He's a class act like his father Archie Manning. Peyton,in big moments,IN THE PLAYOFFS,hasn't delivered up to his name. Ask Tom Brady.

7.Intangibles--I like the Jets here---I like Jay Feely. The Colts were given poor instructions on not to go for 16-0. You always come with "gunz a blazing"!!!! The Jets beat them no matter who was quarterback. There's tension and pressure on the Colts. Peyton needs to get superbowl number 2 to complete his legacy! Not here.Things don't always work out--ask Marino,Ewing,Stockton,Barley,Malone--Look for the colts to self destruct.Their roster is overrated---Take peyton out of there and what do you have? Joseph Addai? decent runner----The Jets have a better runner Thomas Jones and a better backup--did you watch last week?

Expect Manning to get flustered mentally and not to be able to recover. Revis is headed for prime time"Deion Sanders" level and nobody's stopping him.Mark Sanchez is going to take his USC winning ways and convert it into a win against the Colts

JETS WILL DEFEAT THE COLTS---and Sanchez will eat a postgame hot dog instead of on the field because he'll be all business---

Everyone overlooks the Colts D!! The Jets had 3 points offensively when the Colts starters left late 3Q in Week 16! That was with 3-4 defensive starters sitting for Indy plus Peyton was on pace for 290 yards w/no picks while they sat Pierre Garcon....the only real speed threat on the team!

The Jets won't be getting a fluke KO return TD on Sunday! The Colts will move Reggie to the slot and all over to avoid Revis....just like Vince Jackson got his 100 yds! The Colts also have that disciplined...low-penalty reputation....don't be shocked when Revis gets a def. holding or two and the Colts get a big score off of a pass interference on someone else! The Colts will stack the line and force Sanchez to look for Edwards Scissorhands who always chokes! Colts 24-13 if not a little worse w/a few late Sanchez turnovers!

well i don't think 2 favs are going to the super bowl and I picked the jets against SD so may have to do it again. or Peyton could just sweep and solidify his MVP playing.

In case you happened to forget... Kaeding missed 3 f****n fgs! Your Jets are lucky to be where they are. They are facing an offense as potent as SD, maybe even better and a defense that is much more experienced and tougher than SD. If you think that the Jets will win because Sanchez had one impressive td to Keller than you are seriously not thinking straight. That is the type of td that Manning can easily throw 2-3 times per game!!! Come on!!! Jets may cover but they ain't winning this one!

Colts win with a drive in the final 5 minutes, but Jets cover. They've come back all year when behind.

Farve did play for the Jets last year and it did get a little ugly towards the end. They can always sell the game on that.

    2. Revis isn't the best shutdown corner...he can be beat. Nnamdi Asomugha is the best, I think that is pretty understood.

they are pretty close, but I don't watch game film on every game for both of these teams. but people have been talking about Asomugha for a year or two now. and usually when they start talking about corners, they've already reached their peak. so Revis is peaking and people will still be talking about him for 4-5 years even after he is no longer that great. but Revis has a way better 10 guys and schemes around him, and that is what really matters

They got lucky. A few missed field goals is luck. Chargers committing stupid mistakes and not punching it in after effectively moving the ball is luck. It won't happen again.

I'm questioning the "luck". The defense does have something to say about TDs, even FGs.

    Bengals went 0/2 on FGs.

Looking back over the season, the Jets have been having success all year on special teams.

Jets were lucky to beat Chargers. Colts will dominate.

Just like my prediction last week, I'm still going to predict the favored team to win SU, and so that would be the Colts. I just couldn't imagine the Jets winning over the Chargers, but it happened, and it could happen again, though veeeeeery unlikely. I still think this will be a close game though, because it's hard for me to see the Jets get blown out with that great #1 defense.

So, I think this is going to be a close game, much like the Charger game, except the Colts will pull ahead and win it on the ML, but the Jets could very likely cover the spread.

Thanks Mick !!!!!------thanks for the support. I've have a lot of different views on different sports--games,controversy,etc.--I intend to express them

My next viewpoint is going to be on the D'antoni and Nate Robinson on and off relationship---I'll save that for the basketball forum for the basketball fans and I need to gather my thoughts
