    Default Wade Phillips

I can't get on him too much for today's loss, since he did save his job with a late season run. But to see Wade act surprised when Suissam missed two 49-yard FGs was priceless. I mean, didn't he watch this guy miss two FGs against Dallas less than 2 months ago?

He will never win, he is a bonehead. You go for it there on 4 and 1. The guy is Stuart Smalley, gosh donnit people like me. Problem he is a moron.

Chargers and Cowboys should trade kickers.

Man, I don't know whose fans are more likely to murder their kicker the Chargers or the Cowboys, you think those guys had money on thier respective games. They both looked like they were auditioning for the High school Varsity kicking position, Nervous, Hesitant, & downright shell-shocked. Dallas & San Diego radio stations will be first rate entertainment to listen to on Monday the whole day. Especially since no one has to work and they can vent all day about how there teams got pretty much punked out. I think I might Stream their websites on Monday. Quality Radio.

Good point about the kicker and previous 2009 season misses. Another Huge question for the Boyz and Jerry.

Will Wade Phillips coach the Cowboys next season?

I don't consider Wade Phillips to be a very good NFL Head Coach.

I've been a Romo apologist so far. My job is getting really really tough after that game.

i didnt watch it all the way through, was Romo smiling and laughing like he has in the past after a fumble or int?

Not a Romo fan, but there was nothing he could do. His offensive line never got off the plane. Rarely seen such a breakdown, all through the game, of the OL.

as a huge cowboys fan i have been saying for years what this team need and of course Wade Philips is 1 thing we DO NOT NEED.

I get so pissed at critical times in the game and he ****ES UP

Even early in the gm, such as 4th and 1 at 30 yrd line...why not go for it, when score is 0-0 and you have great run offense

The Cowboys blew early opportunities when they were moving on the Minnesota D. Flozelle Adams getting hurt was big, but the offense comnsistently stalled on drives. The seconday looked lost leaving too many receivers open.

Apparently it wasn't a good matchup for Dallas. Too bad they couldn't play Philly every week. lmao

I disagree bout him saving his job.
Cower is still lurking, Jerry could go after him. Anybody would be better than Wade.

At least Cowher is a 3-4 guy. Might be a fit. But I almost wonder if Cowher wouldn't take that job.

the 2 fg misses wouldnt have made a difference. they lost by 31 points and didnt ever sniff the endzone for a touchdown. they were dominated.

Wade Phillips has outgrown his usefullness in the NFL. Hire a young energetic guy and strip Jerry Jones from all the titles he has like president, owner, CEO and general manager. One job for each person.

Carolina's not bad. But I think Fox will stay and they'll b better next year.
But would you rather be the HC of cowboys or the panthers??

Carolina is a slam dunk, for being a better head coaching job.

Dallas is a crummy place to coach, almost as bad as Washington or Oakland.

Jones already picked up the option on Phillips so he will be back next year.

I'm not so sure his job is safe. Probably is. I'd say he is no better than -175 to be back next year.

I like Wade but still not sure he is HC material. He is a very good defensive man.

I could see Cowher going to the Panthers. A decent team where a good coach could do a lot with a lot of potential.

    Fade,
Any chance you could do the right thing and use some of those points you have to pay back the loan Dunder gave you about a month ago? I believe you owe him 53 points.

Phillips will be back next year. He did get into the playoffs and won a game. His team did well in December. He won his division. All of that is progress. Dallas has sucked for years now, so their fans should be happy with this result. Cowher knows that Jerry Jones is one of the three rectums running football teams in the NFL, the other two being Al Davis and Dan Snyder. He will not go to Dallas. Who wants to coach with a moron like Jones calling the shots?

I like Fox, but i think its time to step down in Carolina.. I would love to see Cowher take over that program.. Someone new who wouldn't mind benching Delhomme.. He is whats ruining the Panthers, but Fox can't take him out..
