Capy has been doing this all year, I'm sure he has a method. My guess is, yes, it has a lot to do with looking at the spreads. At least, to start. I was in a similar pool and we split after the regular season. Ours was a "LOSERS" pool where you couldn't use the same team twice, but you had to pick a loser to stay in it.

    Voted for Chargers Capy.

Cougar, 6 of us left wanted to do a 7-way split of $1,000 each, leaving the other 5K in to play for, but the seventh guy nixed it!! D'oh! Guess it's game on.

As I stated in another thread, I am leaning Chargers, but I keep going back to just not having as good a sense of them, especially their D, as I do of the Colts. I feel very confident Baltimore is going to do very little against the Colts.

Neither sir not because they are not going to win but because of the risk factor
If you want my opinion put it all on Minnesota now this one I guarantee

Chargers. They aren't based on one or two players, they have a mix of guys who step up every week to win. No question in my mind the pick would have to be San Diego...

    Good Luck!

No doubt I would take Chargers in this spot over any of the other teams left.

Do yourself a favor and take the Saints/Vikes UNDER 52.5 for Sunday...Teams just put up a bunch of points, everyone and there mother will be putting money on the OVER, but look what happened to the Saints when they played a descent Dallas Defense, now they are playing the Vikes. Not saying they get shutdown, but this is not the Arizona "Defense." However the public is only going to remember that and play the OVER...I see that in some places the line opened at 53 and dropped quickly to 52.5...just something to think about.

Thanks for helping to kill me, Chargers backers.

Blame falls at my feet though... never blame others for your decision. Anyway, I'm out at least 4k (only two people left, they'll probably split the 12k pot). See rest of my comments I just posted at end of this thread:

Which NFL team would you risk it ALL on winning this weekend???

    See you sometime.

Colts for me ... but ... what do I know.

This is what you get for listening to other people instead of deciding yourself. Don't you know that the vast majority of players are losers? So why take a poll and go with the majority? As you said, the blame falls squarely at your feet. If you do not know who to take, DO NOT PLAY!!!!! How many times do people in here who know what they are doing have to say that?

Well, truth be told, I didn't just go with this poll. I also searched for as much analysis of the games as I could find, and read plenty on all the games. So I shouldn't second-guess myself, I should just accept that the Chargers were my preferred decision when it was all said and done. But it still stinks.

What I'm most upset about is that I didn't have as much of a bead on the Chargers as I did on the Colts, having not watched a lot of the Chargers this year. I was going too much on faith of their potential, as opposed to what I knew about the Colts and Ravens.

the chargers just got beat by the best defense in the league. very few teams scored mot than 14 points on them and the D showed up yesterday. it was bad that the chargers had won 12 games in a row because sooner or later they were going to lose. it would have been better if they lost in one of their last 2 games. I know they could have won because of the miss field goals but I thin the best team won yesterday or should I say the best defense won yesterday.
