You're right...Revis is amazing and although he does worry me, Rivers is a superstar qb and he'll know where Revis is at all times...and guess what...he's gonna attack Revis downfield with VJ, he'll go to Gates, Floyd, Nannee, Sproles, etc... if Norv doesn't give the ball to overrated LT more than 15 times, Chargers win easy. I don't care how good that defense is, Rivers should have his way and even though our defense isn't that great, Sanchez is still, well, the worst starting qb in the nfl.

The Chargers went on a very similar streak 3 years ago when we went 14-2 and had the #1 seed. They played tight and lost to the Pats...I think the Chargers will play well and score enough to win comfortably...

It was the Chargers RESERVES that won that game, it is not as if they kept their studs in trying to win the game. It helped that they were facing a Skins team that quit a month ago.

And the 14 in a row is irrelevant, sure they can do it. The fact that they have won all those games doesn't increase or decrease their chances next game.

The chargers are rested and playing at home with rivers and the rest of the team anxiously waiting to get back in action ( the chargers are 4-1 ats in their last five playoff games ). This game will come down to the chargers offense which is 4th in the league in scoring at 28 pts a game versus a jets defense that is at or near the top in every major category.the chargers are 0-3-1 ats when playing top 10 defenses at home this season while the jets are 1-2 ats not counting the colts game on the road versus a top 10 scoring team. The chargers are not a very strong running team so it most likely will come down to whether rivers can air it out against the #1 def against the pass. The jets are 4-0 ats versus teams in the bottom 15 in rushing ypg, and the chargers are second to last in that category. Add in the fact that the jets offense is #1 in the league in rushing, holding on to the ball for over 32 min a game and ill go with the jets to cover. I still like the chargers to win the game but i'll take the jets and the points.

San Diego has to play like they are the dogs. The Jets are a grind it out type of team. San Diego is the hot team. They also have a tendency to lay down when they are favorites in playoff games. They are 0-2-1 as favorites ATS, and 1-2 S/U. If the Chargers play like a dog, they have a great chance of a rout. If they play as a favorite, I do not like their chances of covering.

I agree! Love my Chargers, but this will be a close one. NYJ has a winning PLAYOFF formula right now....solid run offense and run defense. Chargers may have too many weapons for that #1 D (hoping), so they could very well cover...but I ain't putting my fuds on it.
