The Jets pummeled AFC North champion Bengals 37-0 last Sunday. Some striking stats in that contest came from Cincy QB Carson Palmer who was 1-11 for zero yards and an interception. Not stellar numbers from a guy hoping to lead his team into the playoffs with some momentum. Granted, Cincy had its post-season locked up before playing New York, but having to play the follow weekend again, I was expecting more from this 10-6 club.


The Jets head into this playoff match up having won five of their last six games; the Bengals stumble in having lost three of their last four. During the regular season, the Jets had the top ranked passing defense in the league, along with the top ranked rushing attach on offense. That combination makes them winners on the road. JETS - ML.

Line movement isn't towards the Jets it's away from the Wong if I'm reading it correctly. Good for Jets backers though as they get a better price, but terrible for Jets backers as I could really only see value in the Wong. I definitely agree with most of this.

Who were those last four of five? The BUCS(terrible), Bills(bad) lost to the Falcons(not a playoff team), and you really can't count the last two wins because those teams let them win in order to see the Jets in the playoffs.

The Bengals however, LET THE JETS WIN, beat Kansas City, then lost to two of the very best teams in the league (Chargers and Vikings)

Just quoting the Jets won 4/5 and Bengals lost 3/4 doesn't matter unless you looked at why they won/lost and who they were playing. A team that beat the bucs against a team that lost to the Colts doesn't really mean anything
