I paired the Bengals ML with Boise ML and the over in the Fiesta Bowl for 5 bucks to win 136. Not like it will happen, but it will be pretty damn sweet if it does!

Doesn't matter, Bengals won't play regulars for long and they would rather lose and face Jets again next week.

Now official: Bengals regulars are all inactive.

Jets ML is as close to the L*** word as it gets, and I will cash all my teaser tickets with Jets -2.5.

There are just too many uncertainties in this game to make it wager-able. I don't see how anyone can come up with an edge that makes them want to play the game for 20% of their bankroll.

My opinion is that the Bengals bench at halftime and the Jets have a strong change of covering -10. But the Bengals very well might play the game out in which case they have a shot at winning S/U. Both sides are totally unpredictable. If you wager on this game, you're just looking for action.

Line should reverse back once all the Cincy inactives become more publicly known.

Well apparently there is some news that Bengals will not play strong, I much prefer Jets -10 or a small ML play at -450.

I'd pass at that number Lakerboy. I am happy sitting on my -2.5s.

ML seems like +EV though, even at -600.

    OOOPS

Carson Palmer is playing. It is QB Jordan Palmer that is out.

Still, no Benson and a lot of other guys are out. So it will be Carson Palmer, Ochocinco and a bunch of backups, which seems kind of odd.

No because a loss means a rematch with the Jets next week.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Even as the players headed to the bus to take them to The Meadowlands for Sunday night’s game, they weren’t sure how Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis was going to play the regular-season finale against the Jets.
“What’s going on?” asked one starter and when the answer was a shrug, he shrugged back.
Head coach Marvin Lewis tipped his hand with the inactive list when he sat starting running back Cedric Benson and started rookie Bernard Scott. Also out are three defensive starters, tackle Domata Peko, left end Robert Geathers and safety Chris Crocker and one offensive starter, tight end J.P. Foschi.
If the Bengals beat the Jets, they secure the third seed and play a Houston team that beat them back on Oct. 18 at Paul Brown Stadium, 28-17, in another PBS matchup next weekend in a Wild Card game. If the Bengals lose, they play the Jets again with the fourth seed, but this time at PBS.
It would appear that Lewis doesn’t covet the AFC’s third seed as much as he does getting his team healthy and rested for next weekend. But he is starting Carson Palmer at quarterback as well as the other starters that aren't dinged. But Benson has shown no signs of his sore hip flexor that knocked him out of two games in November. And he carried the ball 29 times for 133 yards in the AFC North-clinching win over the Chiefs last week and didn't miss a day of practice in the next three days of work.
More indications that Lewis has the health of his team in mind came with Peko's inactivation. Peko practiced for the first time last week since his Dec. 7 arthroscopic knee surgery but will take a seat, as well as Foschi, who was limited with a neck problem. Geathers hasn't missed a game this season but didn't practice at all last week with a knee ailment.
Also down were fullback Fui Vakapuna and center Jonathan Luigs. Wide receiver Jerome Simpson was active for the second game this season while Frostee Rucker, in place of Geathers, and Rashad Jeanty, in place of injured SAM linebacker Rey Maualuga, got their first starts of the season.

Reading alot of news that Marvin Lewis said he is going to "play to win the game". I think the Bengals will tank but Lewis said his team is to young to do stuff like that. He said he is going to play to win.
