Default Hammer the Chiefs +12 at Denver, Now!

Word just in, Brandon Marshall is being bench due to a hamstring injury. This team will be running with only 3 receivers, Stokley, Gaffney, and LLoyd. None of them has really gotten into any cohesion with Orton this year. Coach McJack@ss will also be benching their only playmaking receiving tightend Tony Scheffler. A already bad passing team has just gotten worst, and their running game sucks too!

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs win. Either way, the Broncos should not be favor by no more than five. I would put a small bet on the moneyline too!

If I had to bet, I'd probably take KC. Spread is just too large and they usually play Denver tough.

I think you are right... and KC would love to beat Denver in this spot. I haven't bet yet, but sure thinking the same as you.

KC is a play even if Marshall plays. Denver is done and faded like last season. But they did more than expected.

Where did you get that Scheffler is going to be out???

KC is going to pound the ball trying to get Jamal Charles to 1000 yards, under might be a decent bet as well.

I got the Cheifs at +12.5. I agree that the under may be a good play.

I would if Bodog didn't cross it out! Do other sportsbooks do this? I also can't parlay or tease the points until the day of the game usually.

Well Denver blew them out and im sure KC would like to see a good ending to their season. NO NFL for me but good luck frosty. Did you take LAkers second half yesterday?

The total is circled in Vegas due to possible lousy weather, though it is sunny and actually a bit warm out here in So. Calif. AS far as the line goes, I can still get 11.5, so it is definately a thought.

Without Marshall they are probably not going to play well here. Denver is in big trouble on Sunday without him. I say take KC and the points.

the other books sometimes remove it or circle it for a little while to give them an opportunity to put it back out at adjusted odds. bodog just circles it and kills it....and their lines always come out so effin late on everything.

the only good thing about them is legitimate poker AND sports at the same place.

Without Marshall's production Denver's is easily what KC is right now, plain bad. Orton can not pass the ball accurately over 5 yards. Most of his 7 yards or more completion or extremely difficult to catch passes that only Marshall can snag out of the air, due to his size and jumping ability. The receivers they have going into this game, won't be quite athletic enough to adjust to Orton ugly passes.

Denver might be able to run, but that's it. Dewanye Bowe was missing in the first game, KC passing game should vastly improve now that he's back. And you can't compare what happened in the last game to this one. Denver dominated the Raiders in the first matchup and look what happened when they met again. KC will be able to keep up with these guy.

There's also some weird things going on in Denver. Considering that Brandon Marshall is already out, McDaniels is benching tightend Tony Scheffler for no reason. He's probably their best remaining receiving option. I think Marshall will play if they were certain to get in the playoffs with this win, but he's choosing not to risk further injury for nothing. This is why McDaniels is benching him, he thinks Marshall faking it.

Denver should have never been favored by 13.5 or 14 in this one to begin with. The teams that have nothing to play for are always the most dangerous ones. KC at +10 or above is a solid play, particularly since it's the last week of the season. BOL all!
