Default Better get NE +8 now

Guys, I've been saying this for a while now, looks as though Brady is playing.. if he plays, all others will too... +8, come on, who wouldnt do that with Brady on field. If he doesnt play, I think they still might cover, but wouldnt be betting.
    10**** NE +8
    8****NE/HOU OVER 46

This is last week's Colts trainwreck all over again. The Colts backers last week were naive. I'm not sure what Pats backers are this week.

This is Bellichick's 10th year as Pats coach. This is week 17 for the Pats in the previous nine years:
2000: v MIA 24-27 as +4 pt dogs; no playoffs
    2001: @ CAR 38-6 as -6.5 fave; winner SB
2002: v MIA 27-24 as +2 pt dog; no playoffs
2003: v BUF 31-0 as -9 pt fave; winner SB
2004; v SF 21-7 as -13.5 pt fave; winner SB
    2005; v MIA 26-28 as -7 pt fave; playoffs
    2006; @ TEN 40-23 as +3 pt dog; playoffs
2007; @ NYG 38-35 as -13.5 pt fave; loser SB
    2008; @ BUF 13-0 as -5.5 fave; no playoffs.

That's 7-2 ATS overall, and 4-2 ATS for years with playoffs. Also, they were 3-0 ATS as dogs.

Brady came in in 2001. How many minutes did he play in these games? And how did the Patriots play in week 17, when they didn't have a bye week to rest starters? Up next.

IF not NE, you may want to get in on over. I think Dark Horse posted some great facts, look above.... I didnt look at results, but went off memory and they played their guys. 10 star pick guys, only winning at 4-1 ratio on these things.

I took the opener of NE +7, and may not be done......betting the game, that is.

Year in and year out, Week 17 is the most profitable betting week of the NFL.

All you need to do is BLINDLY bet against all teams that have made the playoffs and have nothing to play for.

Here are the games this year:
    Buffalo-9 over Indy
    Carolina -7 over New Orleans
Houston -7 1/2 over New England
    Jets -10 over Cincinnati
    Washington +4 over San Diego

Since Indy went out to a 14-0 start, there was an additional play in Week 16 with the Colts -3 1/2 falling to the Jets last week.

I know its tough betting against the NFL elite but remember that many of the players who were responsible for the success of these teams will NOT be on the field.

Bet on the 5 above mentioned teams and you'll be rewarded. I would also recommend trying to find alternate lines where you can lay larger numbers and get better odds.

I couldn't agree with you more...that rule can and does apply to 4 of the 5 matchups you named...but not this game. For me, it's a set of two scenarios:

    1. New England's depth is not worthy of getting 7-8 points, despite their woes on the road....and Belichick has proven over the years he won't let off the gas.

    2. Houston has proved time and time again they can't finish the deal in the clutch. Should be no different here, either.

When the Pats come out of halftime with the second string players, will you guys promise not to make a dozen threads crying about it?

Based on this line, Brady and Company won't play more than a couple of series. Stay far, far away from this game.

I won't cry about it....wouldn't be the first time I was on the wrong side of a game. I still feel NE even with Hoyer in there do enough to cover the #.

Guys, I wouldnt make this bet if I didnt think Brady and Pats starters werent going to play whole game. Just getting all research done before this explosive weekend, will provide all plays tomorrow night.

i hate week 17,its so messed up,you can really ruin a bankroll on weeks like this and after going 4-0 today in the bowl games i think ill just sit on the sidelines and watch.......good luck everybody

Got a message saying on some broadcast NE is playing starters 2-3 series... anyone else hear this??? You know what, I dont even give a damn, lol.... I'm in it and still think they are playing for 3 seed and will play whole game.... if not, my bad and I wont cry about it. I made my bed, if you would like to get it, get it, if scared... you know what to do, we are all able to make decisions. Faint of heart, leave it a lone, those who want a high risk/reward, come aboard.
I think NE's backups are capable if you want the truth.

Just take NE 1st Q or 1H if that is the case. I myself will be on the half-time line + the pts.

I think the line is staying at +8 for a reason.

Nope......I'm a Hoosier, born and raised. I just think this game has the best offer. It is a chancy wager, but Belichick ain't known to let off the gas, even in week 17 with playoffs on the horizon.
