Vikings are playing just as bad right now.

Favre is getting tired and cannot play as well as beginning of season.

Coach is right, he should be on bench right now...they alrdy locked up #2 seed. Play Jackson right now and let Favre rest.

if not, Bears could get some turnovers w/ Favre INTs and keep it close

Favre owns the Bears. Something tells me as a Bears fan we might put up 1 good game if they have any pride.

SamsNCharge99, you are lit up, man.

Vikings haven't even come close to locking up the #2 seed. Even if they beat the Bears, it will come down to next weekend.

Favre isn't tired, he's being as sassy and juvenile as ever, showing up the coach, etc.

don't know where chicago is gonna come up with much offense in this game. the way the bears have been playing the 2nd half of the year, they have to be one of the worst 3 teams playing. I'm pretty sure Cleveland could take them now, same with Oakland.

chicago is just what the Doc ordered for Brett and company

The Bears have let me down a few times this season (really burned me a couple of weeks ago against GB), but you'd have to think that they have it in them to at least push Minnesota to the end at home. If I do make a play on this one, which I'm doubting, it'll be Chicago and likely buying a point or two.

Textbook sharp situation here for BEARS.

Vikings choking down the stretch, like always. Favre folding down the stretch, like always. Peterson getting shutdown and proving to be overrated.

Nobody's expecting anything from the Bears. But they're home, in cold weather, and due for a good game (when's the last time they won)?

I'm not a Bears fan, but this reminds me of 2007 when a crappy to average Bears team smashed on the Packers in late December and Favre was crying and shivering in the wind chill.

Bears find it in the last home game on Monday Night, ML.

Vikings fall apart at the seams and lose in 1st Round to Packers.

This is what happens when you let a drama bitch like Favre walk all over your organization. GB made the 100% hands down right decision and chucked the greatest choke artist of all-time.

The team has ZERO chemistry and does not get along. Favre doesn't give a shit about anything but himself.

These boards are retardedly filled with "joe public" guppies who know nothing but chalk. The ironic part, they see themselves as being a step above the public but make the same chalk picks...

Time and time again, you see the public jump all over a percieved suspicious spread and then eat shit. (see colts today)

Only problem with that is, the bears have a terrible offense and a defense that can't stop the run which will be at full tilt this week given that Favre doesn't throw well in cold weather and Peterson has been contained in the last several weeks. Look for Peterson to breakout out and have another huge game against the Bears whom he averages 106.5 yards per game against and has scored nine touchdowns in five games.

hahaha sage rosenfels hahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaLets see here the vikings are playing for more then just a normal game they want the home field .Farve hates chi. I just dont see how somone who plays in the nfc north for 10 plus years sucks in the cold check his winning % home boys. Ap is gonne get 2 rush td alone 100 plus yrds like tbird said farve dosent throw much in this game and if he does he gets comps and maybe1 int if that.Farve is pumped maybe u didnt see what he did to his coach last week and what he said this week. I live on the wis/mn border were we go to church and pray to pics of bf haha joking .J allen makes cutler cry all bye himself .Chi sucks even if there home. Maybe u forgot but its 12 degrees in mn where its like 20 in chi so dont think chi is colder then mn. vikings are gonna make it blizzard td in the end zone baby

This should be a lock the bears are just terrible. Jay Cutler sucks along with the Bears running game and defense. You would think the Vikings would show up and play well especially with a chance for the number one seed. And they don't want to lose the number 2 seed. But it is monday night and Brett Favre does not play well in the cold weather as of late. I just think Adrian Peterson gets on track and the Vikings win by double digits.

I have been seriously watching many of you on this board for the last two-three weeks and there are so many doubters all the time. This Minny (-7) bet seems like a lay up much like the Spurs (-2) at Knicks was earlier today. Yet there are always people in here saying "be careful this.....be careful that".

Here's why you need so called "experts" need to pipe down......

It's because you think gambling is a science when it really isn't.... so please SHUT UP. You don't analyze the Vegas cappers to pick winners you retards....you analyze the teams on the field and the situations surrounding the actual GAME!!

    The Bottom Line Is This
: The last two games Minny played vs. Chicago were both blowouts in favor of Minnesota (yes even with Tavaris Jackson, who can have his good moments, starting in the game). Despite being form the South, Favre excels in cold-weather games.

    • Born and raised in the South, went against conventional wisdom by performing well in the cold
    • At home, held a 43-6 record including playoffs when the kickoff temperature was 34 degrees or below; possessed an impressive 92.0 passer rating in those 49 cold-weather games, based on 951 completions in 1,533 attempts (62.0 percent) for 11,016 yards, 88 TDs and 40 INTs.
Oh yea also, Favre has had 25 TD passes at Chicago's Soldier Field, owning sole possession of fourth on that stadium's all-time list, behind three Bears quarterbacks: Erik Kramer (38), McMahon (37) and Jim Harbaugh (28).

    - Last week's loss to Carolina was an more Carolina's stud defensive play of late than Packer's and Favre sucking offensively: the Panther's defense has been killing all quality teams since the beginning of November 2009 (Panthers beat a healthy Falcons team 28-19 on Nov. 3rd, held a solid Patriots offense to only 20 points on Dec 13th AT NEW ENGLAND, held Favre and company check to only 6 points at home, and held a solid NY Giants offense to only 9 points at NEW YORK this week).

Believe me, the Bears defense has been showing no signs of "stud" anything this whole year.

    - THe whole Brad Childress -Favre thing won't even be an issue as long as A Peterson and the Vikings DEF shows up (both definitely will). Why? Because BEars and Cutler are prone to turnovers and Favre and MINN rushing game in a short field against them will easily convert those turnovers to TD's. 10-13 more points and good clock management by Vikings offense and bam....the final will be, at WORST, 27-17 Vikings.

Conclusion: 86% chance the Vikings cover this spread. Everyone just pipe down and take the Vikings at either (-7.5) or (-8) and thank me later. Sure the Bears could put up a fight and make things close, but seriously the Bucs could beat the Saints once in a while too (sh*t just happens). However in this case.....it'll be highly unlikely.

(Oh yea, and did I mention, Viking STILL HAVEN'T locked up the #2 seed in the NFC??) That in itself is enough motivation for Favre, Childress and the Vikings to go lay the hammer into Cutler and the Bears....who by the way will finish 6-10 as I predicted at the beginning of the year....that 6th win will be at Detroit next week.
