If the Raiders can beat the Eagles, it's very possible Denver can beat them too! Now in all of Denver's loss except the Colts game, the opposition has been able to run on them at will. All those teams has a proven back though, while philly will be relying on a rookie Lesean McCoy. I like Denver's chances here, and their secondary should be able to contain McNabb.

The remaining question mark would be the Broncos offense. In their last two losses to the Colts and Raiders, this offense has been able to get into redzone 8 times. Were talking about having potentially 27 to 56 points here, but this offense has only managed to get 17 out of that. Their other offense woes are their numerous inabilities to convert on 3rd and 1's. If these simple offensives hiccups are corrected in this Eagles game, I don't see why Denver can't win here.

The Eagles are an entirely different team than when they lost to the Raiders so trying to make a case for the Broncos using that logic doesn't really make much sense.

With that being said, this forum is filled with people who have no understanding whatsoever of probabilities so I would ignore all those who posted that the Broncos have no chance to win this game.

They will back the better team no matter the odds, win 75% of their bets and still lose money at the end of the day.

problem with all this is mccoy has provin to be a good back that hits the hole hard and westbrook is coming back...dont get it twisted phi can run the ball as they have proven on several key drives this year....if they choose to do so is another matter but i tend to think reid is smart enough to look at gm tape and tell this is a soft run d...dawkins coming back does worry me a little(phi really shit the bed not keepin this guy) but really your only hope(slim at best) is for your team to run, run, and run some more because god forbid den gets into obvious passing downs phi will expose orten again for the bum most every1 knows he is(except possibly a few delusional den fans) by all means do what you do its your right to let your team burn your money but isnt it gonna hurt enough getting run from the playoffs w/o the added insult of them taking your hard earned cash......last thing, desperate team? they didnt know last week at home against oak was almost a must win for them? if you can not win a gm at home against oak which would almost guarantee a playoff spot no way do i trust you to go to phi and play a hot eagles team to keep your dwindling hopes alive

they have to win the game argument has never really held a lot of weight with me...if they played better fb all year they wouldnt be in this spot and just maybe they cant win games they "have to" any more than any other gms they lost...im mean dam this "great defense" should have known they needed it last week when at the end of the game they let the worst draft pick of all time drive the field and beat them at home if they would have handled that "must win game" better no1 would be on them this week as you would all be saying they dont need this 1 they can lock up a spot against the chiefs next week

In reality philly should take care of Denver. The line is suggesting a close game or a backdoor cover. The one thing to remember is the Eagles like kicking fg's instead of getting td's and that might be enough for a Denver cover. As for the ml it certainly has great value but the eagles are gold in December.
