Quinn goes to the browns.

I disagree, BBD.
I disagree mainly because the Browns gave up next year's 1st round pick to move up 12 spots to get him. Cleveland's 1st round pick next year could be a top 10 pick! That's a pretty hefty price to pay, even if you've got Quinn graded as a top 10 talent THIS year.
Basically Romeo & the Browns are pinning their franchise hopes on Quinn. He may prove to be the real deal, but that's a lot of pressure to put on a rookie QB that a lot of teams that needed a QB didn't want. IMO, Charlie Weiss did a great job of selling Brady Quinn, maybe too good. The Browns overpaid unless Quinn becomes "the answer" in Cleveland.

Quinn is going to suck. I think best QB out of this draft will be Stanton.

I can understand your argument owned. However, I think he's going to be fine as a pro though. The problem I see he might have is that he plays for the Browns.

Yeah, giving away picks is always a good policy.
Someone needs to explain to me why Quinn is the next coming. More importantly, how he can step into this situation and become superman, as a rookie no less. There might be flashes with weapons like Edwards & Winslow to help him, but it's still sub .500 for the Browns in 2007. This team is still many pieces away from contending. That's why you can't just give away big pieces like #1 picks so easily.

I'm guessing that the Browns taking Quinn also has something to do with the Weiss-Crennel connection.
I listened to Weiss in several radio interviews before the draft bragging Brady Quinn up and down. Weiss said something to the effect that Brady Quinn is somewhere between Peyton Manning & Tom Brady. I just can't buy that.

I was curious what happened to that extra pick that Cleveland sent to Dallas to move up 12 spots to get Quinn. Dallas used Cleveland's #1 pick in 2008 to get Felix Jones. But Dallas could have taken Rashard Mendenhall, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte, Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, etc. Also, Cleveland's original spot in 2007 was used to take Kevin Kolb after Dallas traded the pick to Philly.
So, Cleveland could've basically not done the trade and had Kevin Kolb and a RB from the list above rather than Brady Quinn.
