Chargers are still looking for the #2 seed (bye), so I think they'll play their starters, and play them hard against the Titans. If not ML, I would take the spread and buy the hook: Chargers +3.5

So, if the Titans win, I don't think they'll win by more than a field goal.

Titans have more to play for but and are a crazy hot team...public is seeming to really love san diego, and I think it may be wiser to take the titans

I'm seeing more value with Chargers +3 than Titans -3, but that's just my opinion.

Agree with this totally. More value in the Chargers +3. Probably will stay away, but if I had to bet I'd take the points.

I love SD +3. San Diego is a super hot team, who is historically great in December, and still looking to grab that 2 seed. What's not to like? Don't read to much into this whole idea of a "trap" game. Although I do hate playing with the public.

It is a really scary bet this one.. but imma go with the Titans and their urge for a win.

Man, a lot of "staying away" from this game. C'mon people, ya gotta see what there is to be seen. On a pure talent level, the Chargers are measurably superior to the Titans as a complete football team. San Diego is VERY motivated for this game and has ZERO reason to rest any starters until this game is in the bag. The Titans are also very motivated, but they just don't match up well against the Chargers or any top-notch NFL team.

Here's a few telling stats: This season the Titans are 2-7 against the spread against teams with a .500+ record in their previous 6 Games. The Chargers are 3-0 straight up and 3-0 ATS vs. the Titans in the last three years (and 4-0/4-0 in the last 5 years). San Diego is 9-0 in their last 9 games, winning by an average of 12 points. Tennessee is 7-2 in their last 9 games, winning by an average of 2 points.

San Diego wins by at least 3 points, and maybe by a lot more. I'll bet the Chargers ML and take the 3 points, averaging out the risk so I break even if the Titans win by 1 or 2 points. I expect a nice pay day after the Chargers clinch a playoff bye and the Titans begin planning for next year.
