4 of the last 5 wins for the Saints have been losing records, 2 to 1 win teams (StL, TB)... A beat up Atlanta team took them the distance just 6 days ago...
I actually WANT NO to win this game, but I think for the sake of the franchise that this is the spot where they SHOULD lose... The last 2 games will be half time starts for Brees etc, vs TB and Car... and a loss tonight would Definitely give them motivation to attack the post-season even harder... On the same point, the players know they are 15-1 pretty much no matter how the end of the season plays out while the Cows lose this and the downhill slide just gets worse and worse...
I can't believe I'm siding with Coach Bumpkin, but They DO have 30 wins in 3 years... They are clearly capable of getting their 9th of the season in this spot...
